openOlder YA mystery novel about a girl going on vacation with her know it all cousin Literature
I read this nearly 20 years ago, so the details are vague, but I know it was a YA mystery novel. The plot was there was this girl, who was very mousy and plain, going on vacation with her cousin, who was blonde, I think her name was Clair or Clarice. It was written in the first person, so the main character is constantly complaining about what a know it all Clair(?) is while bemoaning how boring and plain she herself was. The main plot is that there is an island on the lake they're visiting, where an old man lives. He lost his daughter a decade or two ago, and has become a hermit. There's also rumors about a treasure, I'm not sure if it was the hermit's treasure or not. I remember a lot of small plot snippets, such as someone finding a picture of the missing daughter, and saying she looks like the cousin. They take her to the island, only for the hermit to get angry, and later the cousin points out that it couldn't be of the daughter because the writing on the photo is ballpoint, which weren't invented at the time. There's also a part where the main character, who can't swim, is on the lake lake in an inner tube, then realizes she's drifted over the drop off. They end up finding where the missing treasure is when they hear someone talking about a "snake tree", which stumps the know it all cousin, but the main character remembers an upturned tree. The roots reminded her of snakes, and the book ends with her going "Nani Nani Boo Boo, Clair(?) I can do better than you!" I can't remember if the book was even that good (The main character was really Bella Swan-esque) but I'd kinda like to know that it's called, and if anyone else remembers it.
openDoes this situation from a sitcom sounds familiar to you?
Recently I saw a tweet from someone I don't know. I wish I could find that tweet because that would answer my question... basically this person was posting screenshots from a series. and I thought the script was soooo funny and now I want to watch it but I have no fckkng idea what's the name of the series. I'm pretty sure it's a sitcom, I mean, it looked like a sitcom
on the screenshots there was a guy explaining to his friend why he stopped trusting their friend melissa. and he was saying something like "I'm gonna be honest, I thought about siding with melissa. but then she sent me a text saying "heyy" spelled with two y's and that's when I knew it".
if this sounds familiar to you please tell me what is it lol
Edited by felipe666openFemale thief cartoon Western Animation
I'm looking for a cartoon I've watched years ago, but sadly can't remember the name of. I think it was set in Paris and there was this woman that would transform herself in to a thief of sorts. The police is after her and one of the lead officers starts to build a relationship with the thief character when she's not thieving around. She also saves him at times. The style is kind of a cross between an anime style and Tintin.
opendebunking show Live Action TV
In the show it was a 15 ish year old girl and a similarly aged boy and a older man dressed as a scientist. They would debunk popular videos, show you how to prank people. It was always horror/scare themed. In one episode I remember they tell you hoe to rig red laser pointers in a bush to make it look like a monster was watching you. They also debunked that ghost video where the ghost jumps out into an alley for a few seconds then goes back inside and no one can explain it but they debunk it. They also taught how to make a volcano out of paper mache. The guy was probably mid to late 30s.
openWebcomic with male lead and purple haired love interest? Webcomic
There was a webcomic I read ages ago about a boy who basically ‘dies’ and then wakes up in class as a kid again with all knowledge from the time he died. He starts off as one of the weakest in his class but with his knowledge uses it to train and get stronger. His class and the higher tier kids look down on him and he makes a bet with his teacher that if he can get up to a certain tier then she has to quit teaching them and he also takes on teaching a purple haired girl and a couple of other kids.
They all go up in levels with ease after the training.
Part of what he remembers is alchemy and so he sells potions and stuff that help with levelling up to the alchemy association that start looking out for him and paying him and stuff.
And he’s a kid at this time and he gets stronger quite quickly
And the purple haired girl he has a crush on may end up with some kind of moon sickness/poisoning from training at night and so he gets her to stop and rest and helps with the training and stuff
Because they’re all told it’s nigh impossible to move high up unless you’re born with that ranks powers
But he proves them wrong
And I can't remember the name of this webcomic at all, please help?
openStaring someone named Michael Live Action TV
I would believe it is a TV show or movie about a boy named Michael who is homeless and attends an elementary school where after his first day, a family of a different skin color takes him in and then cares for him while Michael try's to be resistant of the parent being so caring towards him. That is all that I remember.
openscary high school where crazy things constantly happen Live Action TV
It was a show where it was a group of friends in school (not sure which grade) and it was haunted/weird stuff just happened and in one episode i remember specifically they went to eat lunch. They saw it was instead full of green slime? If you ate it you would turn into a monster/mutant and their principal or teacher are it and he begins to terrorize them. Weird I know, in another episode I think the school was run over by ants/insects maybe. They all dressed like they were from late 90s to early 2000s. Very dark set, always creepy looking and old.
openspy movie from late 80s to early 90s Anime
It was a movie involving two kids (in a hotel?) Who were curious about a new person who moved in and so they spied on him. In the scene I remember, it was the family of one of the kids going to unlock their car, and the other kid opened the door took something and closed and ran away before they could see him. Then the two boys who are 11 or 12 ish figure out the guy did something bad, and followed(were captured and brought to?) A beach house/house close to the beach) and could see him moving a body/something and thought he was a killer. (Possibly he was fine in the end and their overactive imaginations were what made him seem do bad) any help appreciated.
Edited by TheGameDude123openOld Youtube Analyzer/Reviewer/Critic Web Original
I'm 99% sure their account was deleted but does anyone at least know their name? I used to watch them year ago, around 2008-2010. She critiqued... Things. I can't actually remember. I think it was either bad OCs or rants. I remember her using an avatar of Shadow Link from the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords manga.
open80s/90s Japanese song Anime
This is probably too vague. I am pretty sure this was the theme to a romance anime from the 80s or 90s. I know the chorus is something like "suki sa" or "suki ya" or something. Neither of those seem like proper Japanese, however it's the most my brain can figure out. The singer is a man and it was a relatively slow ballad.
openVeggieTales but with Musical Instruments Western Animation
As the title says, I remember renting a VHS that was similarly animated like Veggie Tales but it was a story about talking instruments. The main character was a guitar. He was really excited for his friend who was an electric guitar to visit. But when his friend came, everybody started talking about how great he was and this made the main guitar jealous. There was also a subplot about every body being in a talent contest. And I remember one scene where everybody was having fun at the beach.
open1990’s Kids Show Live Action TV
I was almost positive it was an episode of Sesame Street, but it could have been Reading Rainbow. There was an episode where a young girl around 10 or so trains a dog to be a service dog and gives it to someone who is blind. It’s not the recent Brandis Sesame Street episode, but that’s the only thing that comes up when I have attempted to google it. It’s been driving me crazy!
openSpeed Racer, But In Space
There was this show, when I was younger, on Jetix(AKA Toon Disney). It had a girl with red hair (Molly, I think?), and she was in some sort of race on another planet, and whoever one became some sort of super space-god. I know the theme song has the words "Never say Never" in it. I don't know if it was an anime or not. Any help is good. I thank you in advance.

openWHAT HAPPENED TO: Cartoon Show Called "W" Western Animation
I have info on this show, but I need to know if there's anyway I could find more on it. It is on wikipedia for shows that aired on Teletoon, but it does not have its own proper page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W_(2006_TV_series) and it of course aired in 2006. I also managed to use Wayback machine to the old teletoon site and found one of their flash games called "W- islands". The show features a funny looking boy with a large round nose, abnormally large feet and hands, red/burgundy coloured hair that sprouts from his head, a white tank top and orange shorts and he had a friend that was a seagull about the same size as the boy, but i dont think the seagull was very nice all the time.. and of course, they were trapped on an island together.. at least Im sure they were. I GOTTA find some more info on this show. I can't seem to find any videos, pictures, or anyone who knows what im talking about. The show was short and i'm not sure it played too often. I would compare it to the short shows such as "wild wild circus company" or "futz!". I HAVE A JOURNAL ENTRY ON THIS PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE SCREENSHOT I HAVE ON THERE OF THE FLASH GAME: https://zimandchowder4evr.deviantart.com/journal/ANYBODY-REMEMBER-THIS-711828468
Edited by zimandchowder4evropenCartoon/Stop motion TV show
When I was little (early 2000s) I remember watching this cartoon about teenage kids who had to fight monsters in an alternative world to their own. They would go to school and had skip class to go hide in like hidden parts of their campus where they could enter these cells, connect and become part of this alternative world. There was one character who was really good at tech stuff and would sit behind the computer monitoring everyone's activity when they entered the other world and would rarely cross over into the other world. As soon as they would enter this world the show would go from cartoon to stop motion-like, and they would be fighting these robot-like creatures that seemed to be controlled by the game itself. I remember the title containing something like "kyono" in it but I'm not sure. one of the main characters who was supposed to represent the 'good' in the game and guide the kids in it would also go into these towers throughout to what seemed to be a way to save the game/kids from these monsters. please someone help!! been trying to find this title for ages! thanks
openYA Novel Literature
I read part of a young-adult novel as a kid, and haven't been able to find it again. The protagonist was a boy who encounters a circus where the tigers talk and one of the performers is an enslaved angel with clipped wings. I could have sworn it was called 'The Tiger's Boy', but I can't find it under that title.
the tv show was about a white guy (the actors real name was ben) who went to india to start a company there and theres this rival company and he falls in love with a girl and its a comedy i think it got canceled at season 2
