Does ANYONE remember a French-Canadian children’s TV program from the 80s or 90s that involved either mimes or clowns in white costumes with white props against a dark background?
I have really vague memories of this show associated with the song “Alouette” and I want to know if it actually existed or not.

A website about weird pop culture, it had a strange opening part with a character saying, "in Finland, we eat the candies shaped like [shit.]
A Sierra-style adventure game that is really weird and trippy, where the plot twist is that the main character is crazy and hallucinating everything in a loony bin after her boyfriend's death.
An early Playstation game, involving flying around an environment similar to the one in Audiosurf and shooting enemies.
A weird vampire movie where the twist is that the villain is not one of the vampires but a human con artist and a murderer.
A movie in which astronauts in the 1950s discover that some guys managed to get to the moon in the 1800s.
A famous poem in which the author promised his girlfriend riches and power in exchange for her love, parodied by many writers like Shakespeare and Chaucer.
A couple of things that I may have dreamed, though I think they are real and would be curious if they did exist: A cartoon about a baby that has the highest fever ever and lives, and a movie, probably a T.V. movie, about a farmgirl hospitalized with a high fever.

This one is a TV show from the late 1970s. It was live action, but it used puppets that were made to look like people (not muppets or talking animals). It was shot outdoors, not on a puppet stage. The story was that these puppets had some kind of spaceship or time machine that was made out of wood. It was round and kind of resembled a water tower. That's all I can remember for now.

Okay this is a YA fantasy book that I read as a kid. The basic premise is that a girl is sent by a spymaster of some sort (who I think is her adoptive father figure) to infiltrate a rebellion. The Empire has managed to catch the leader multiple times, but he keeps escaping before they can hang him.
The girl joins up with the group and learns how he manages it- the royalty (or important people?) in this culture has stones in their palms called cabochons. When these stones are fitted into indents on the hilts of their swords, they allow the user to use what is essentially combat magic.
There are also camel/grasshopper hybrids that they ride at one point which have indents in their upper chest area that they are able to fit their arms into- for some important evolutionary reason.
I have no idea what any of the characters were named, but I think there was a sword on the cover of the book. Also I remember some of the plot-twist if that would be helpful for finding it.
Please let me know if you have any idea what I'm talking about?

This was a British show from about the 80's. I'm not sure if it was a series or just a one off. I can remember there were a bunch of kids in a house, maybe an orphanage, and there was a tiger in the house. And there was a storm outside. There was singing too, I remember one of the kids, a girl singing 'There's no tiger there, there's no tiger there. It's in my imagination, there's no tiger there'. I don't remember much else. Sorry... anyone???

Several years ago, I checked out this book that was like an edited autiobiography of someone who was a mercenary in Europe during either the 1600s or 1700s. I want to say that the guy was Irish, but he could have been Scottish or Welsh, and I think he served mainly in Germany. I think the book had rogue or scoundrel in the title or something like that
What's weird is that the basic story sounded a whole lot like the novel Barry Lyndon, except he was a real person.
For some reason, I'm thinking the guy's name was Peter, George, Henry, or Hugh.
Edit- What's weird is that Patrick Gordon sounds like who I'm thinking of, but there isn't a book in English that fits what I'm thinking of.

Okay, we're going REALLY obscure here. As in, I don't really remember much at all about it and I have my doubts that nearly ANYONE has heard of it (though someone other than me must have, since it was fully scanlated). There was a manga that was about three or four long-ish chapters long. From what I remember, it dealt with a handful of robot/android/cyborg women who look 100% human, with the protagonist either BEING one or sheltering/helping one. And the main bad guy is an imposing business dude who is also capable of combat. But there's one particular element that always stuck out to me. One of the evil android women (who works for and is later murdered by the evil businessman dude) has the ability to, for lack of a better term, lay robot eggs. As in, she lays little egg-shaped robot things to do her bidding. It should be noted that this manga is NOT a hentai, but it DOES have heavy sexual elements in it.

Looking for a time travel series that I was shown in 6th grade. I believe it was a Canadian educational series designed to teach history. It was very cheesy looking and was probably produced in the late 70's/early 80's. The only thing I remember about it was it has a giant orange TV screen type thing that the kids used to time travel back to different time periods. It was live action. Thanks!

As a child I had a subscription to a VHS series of wildlife educational videos geared toward children, which featured an upbeat male narrator and a two-legged, silent, purple animated tiger mascot. I watched the videos around the late-90's to early 2000's, but I think the publication date was closer to the mid-90's. I'm not sure if the episodes were ever aired on television, or if it was only available via the subscription. Each episode was focused on a group of animals, with such specific topics as cats, dogs, horses, amphibians, monkeys etc... The episodes also had some sort of generic pun as the title, only two of which I remember: Kit n' Caboodle (or some iteration of that) and Monkey Business.

I remember watching a show, I think it was the early 2000s... Thinking it was a Canadian show... It may have even had the word Tales in the title... There was a Native man who owned a shop or something and he would tell stories about a wolf and his friends... Pretty sure the wolf's name was Dwight. The wolf and his friends were puppets. That's about all I can remember unfortunately :/

This is a relic from my past, from the early 2000s. I'm pretty sure it was from Adult Swim, though I could be wrong about that.
If I recall, the title was two words, though they escape me, and I think it was a collection of various animations possibly telling a story. I think there was something to do with Shakey-line animation as well, though that could be something unrelated.

I saw this one several years ago on (I think) Sy Fy, so it's quite likely it was a TV movie. I don't remember it very well. There's a school bus full of (I assume) high school students that stops on some farm, on a field trip or something, and I guess the planned activities get held up because no one's around. A bunch of the students wander off around the barn, and a bunch of them start turning up dead. You don't see the murders occurring at first, you just see the bodies turn up impaled or stabbed or with cut throats or whatever. I only saw the beginning. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I saw half of an anime on adult swim when I was young (Im guessing 10 or so years ago) and I have not been able to remember the title or find it anywhere. All I really remember is 3 characters and one scene. There was one protagonist, one female protagonist/antagonist and the main male antagonist. It seemed to be set in the future from what I can remember. I believe the main male antagonist mentored the female antagonist or maybe raised her. She wanted to do good sometimes and was quite outspoken but she was in love with the male antagonist. At the end the male antagonist was trying to destroy the world or something and the female antagonist ends up killing or almost killing the bad guy and saving the world. When she does this, I seem to remember there being a big fight and then her flying some kind of ship out into the sky to save everyone, maybe with the male antagonist on board. She says something like "I always loved you" regarding the male antagonist. I cannot remember the main protagonist at all but there was another main character who was there for all of it. They may have been younger. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been killing me for many years.
I remember that I used to watch this show on PBS in what had to be the early-mid 90s. It featured a blond boy that would follow clues and go on adventures around the world... I think he might have traveled through time to solve mysteries. He had some kind of sidekick that I am pretty sure was a robot that guided him through his adventures. One key detail I remember is that in one episode, the boy and his friend travel to Koh Ker... (lol).
I want to say it was environmental-themed. Like teaching kids to be ecologically/environmentally mindful. Every episode would have the same sponsors... the Arbor Day Foundation and some kind of rainforest preservation foundation.
I know I'm not making this up! I've looked through PBS's past programming to no avail.. from what I can tell it's not listed. Maybe it was only syndicated through my local PBS station, APT (Alabama Public Television). The animation style looked like it could have been made in the late 80s/early 90s.
