The entry could stand to be condensed a bit, as it's a little too long. No cause for total deletion though.

I'll take a look at it later, if someone doesn't change it first.

I've copied it over to the discussion page so that we can condense it while still leaving the current clunky version up. The entry carries valid info, it just needs to be cut down.

Yeah, pulling a whole example in the name of removing natter isn't on at all. I've PMed IM Boring. Even if someone has screwed up Example Indentation and is writing in a nattery style, there might be valid material that can be reclaimed. Certainly there was no reason to lose the original example to get of the following thread-mode stuff.
