I largely thought it was what it was based off both the name and seeing other examples. My fault for not just going to the page first, but is there an already available clean-up thread?

Okay, so Adaptation Origin Connection. The trope is strictly about when an antagonist is given a greater connection to the hero, right? I've started cleaning up some of the examples I made since they were misuse of the trope but I need more clarification just to be safe.
