If you are also searching for this, maybe you remember some details I don't remember and can help complete the description?

Really hoping somebody has at least some idea or information that could help. I raked my brain a lot and this really is all I can remember. I try to visualize some of the scenes but am pretty sure most of what I see is just made up on the spot rather than actual memories. If you have any idea about this, just telling me you remember it exists would already be helpful.

It doesnt fit very well. But the only movie I remember close to this was D.A.R.Y.L. It has a baseball scene, And the ending is basically him dead in a morgue, and the doctor who helped build him walks in and fixes him.

Thank you so much! This is very close! I remember now watching D.A.R.Y.L in the early 2000s, and thinking how crazy close it was to that other thing this post is about. I'm pretty sure watching D.A.R.Y.L is a big part of why I haven't completely forgotten the "Arthur" movie by now.

There *has* to be somewhere somebody on the Internet talking about how my "Arthur" movie stole from DARYL, I'll start searching. Thank you so much again, first breakthrough in ... forever ...

Are you confusing D.A.R.Y.L. with A.I.: Artifical Intelligence? Just wondering. I remember D.A.R.Y.L., but I do not recall such a movie with Arthur. Good luck.

I'm 100% sure it's neither DARYL or AI: Artificial Intelligence, I see very massive differences between DARYL and the one I saw ( most important probably is it was clearly a very different budget, but there are clear differences in plot points too ), and AI: Artificial Intelligence is very different from both.

Also, AI Artificial Intelligence came out long after I saw this, definitely. Also, the visuals of DARYL are completely different from this movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't been seen by many people, I strongly suspect this was made-for-tv.

I think I remember a few years back, I was trying to find an episode of a TV show/sci-fi anthology, that I had seen around the same period of time, and possibly on the same channel/time-slot, so it might be from the same series as this [Robotic Reveal] thing.

It was about a guy working on martian soil, who puts ( illegally/stole the dirt from work, I think because they wouldn't let him study it the way he wanted ) it in a giant aquarium in his garage, martian small creatures ( rat-sized I think ) start appearing and growing, and in the end of the episode, he falls into the aquarium and is killed by them.

If this was the same series/show/anthology, maybe if I can find that episode again, I can find what the series is, and scan all of it's episodes. I'll look for it, and if I find it, post about it here. And if I can't find it I'll open a new topic for it here.

The stolen Martian soil episode you are talking about is the first episode of The Outer Limits (1995). It was called Sandkings. Written by none other than George R.R. Martin.

Thank you so much! I'll try looking at the list of episodes for The Outer Limits and see if my story is in there.
