What moods do you see clashing there?

The second part of the first paragraph on Unlikely Hero talks about the protagonist being annoyed by becoming the hero. Not sure though if the trope covers single events.

It looks to be more about the protag being dragged into random heroic things when all he wanted to do was doing something personal.

No playing with mood here, but it does sound like a trope.

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza

Humble Goal sounds correct! Do we have a trope for when the protag gets sucked into multiple things cuz of the plot?
