I think it technically qualifies, but it's a downplayed version of the tragedy compared to most of the examples listed.

That's Tragic Bigot + Disproportionate Retribution
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza
E.G a guy who becomes a white supremacist or whatever because a black guy bullied him in school. Would this be Tragic Bigot or what?
