Two people are in an argument. One of them repeats the exact same line every time no matter what the other says, and not only is it appropriate to the situation, it's often good enough to win the argument, or at least get the other to give up.
For example, in The Boys someone asks who the leader of the Avengers expy is. The Thor expy (a superpowered Nazi named Stormfront) says "I am.", the Captain America expy (a whiny Manchild with nowhere near the combat proficiency of Stormfront or the real Cap) keeps trying to pull Still the Leader, but his every argument is interrupted by Stormfront repeating "I am.".
