Not quite, it was more steampunk with a bit less risk in the storytelling and art design. If I remember correctly, there was an event of personal growth where the train they were using was stopped by some enemy automaton and they had to retreat. After hitting up their senpais and getting a heaping helping of literally no good advice, they became strong enough to completely nuke it and continue on their journey. For humanoid art style, it was more along the lines of 7 Deadly Sins and seasonal slice of lifes than stylized/unique shows.

The robot designs were unique, with the robot helper on the train being akin to one of the helper bots of Nier Automata or similar orbital, but with extreme steampunk elements. This applied to enemy robots as well, of course, with the roadblocker having a full factory’s worth of pipes and cogs shoved into his body.
