Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I would suggest that examples require at least some kind of citation to demonstrate that it's more than just one person's reaction. I'm not sure if we want to create some sort of cleanup topic to enforce it, though.
Frankly, this audience reaction is so subjective that I can't see it being worth keeping.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I feel like this would work better as an In-Universe Examples Only trope, rather than a YMMV trope, as it is now.
Edited by bitemytailI'm surprised it isn't already.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99ยขI've never understood why Painful Rhyme exists in its current state.
I don't see a problem with it.
EDIT: I mean I don't have a problem with the trope currently.
Edited by rjd1922 Keet cleanup^ With Painful Rhyme in its current state, or with making Painful Rhyme In-Universe Examples Only?
Personally, I support making it IUEO to curb complaining.

^ K. I'll post it there in the morning; it's late over here
Does Painful Rhyme require a widespread reaction to be listed on a YMMV page? I've seen it deleted with the reason that there's not enough audience feedback to warrant it, but does it need it? Not a lot of people are going to post/Tweet/blog about a bad rhyme in a song, but that doesn't mean it's not a bad rhyme, no?
