Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Removed. Its speculating.
The offending example is still present on the page.
Edited by Albert3105You could have PMed me before writing here, you know :) Idk how it is speculating when all those characters are 100% in the movie based on filming details / set photos, but we can always re-add that example in two months anyway, so it is not a big deal.
Edited by AsherinkaConsidering that we don't have the final release trailer, that trope is purely speculative and thus not valid. We can certainly surmise, for example, that dusted characters won't appear in any trailers to prevent spoilers, but until we actually know that for a fact, we can't put it in a trope example.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Lets just wait till the final trailer is out before we add this.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
I previously deleted an example of Sir Not-Appearing-in-This-Trailer from Avengers: Endgame due to the finished product not being out, and thus the example would fall under Speculative Troping. (FYI the trope is about major characters who failed to appear in pre-release material appearing in the finished product.)
Then Asherinka re-added the example, despite that doing so is pretty much speculating who will appear in the finished product.
Posting this to ATT to avoid an edit war.
