This might not be it, but could it be Timothy Goes to School? I just recently rediscovered it (used to watch it when I was little). It has bunnies & other animals in it, and the animation is by rosemary wells, creator of max and ruby.

I remember this was on one of those VHS tapes you'd get that had 2 hours of cartoons (they're all probably 10 minutes long give or take).
The particular one I'm looking for was about a rabbit family. A mom, dad, brother, and sister.
I remember the animation being kind of like Max and Ruby. Flat looking, almost just like paper. Hand drawn characters. Their mouths didn't move, but they did "talk" (like the voice actor would just be saying full sentences and you'd just go with it type of thing)
I remember there was perhaps a school play they were getting ready for (I don't know why I remember this, but I feel like it must be important)
The most important thing I remember is that the youngest was afraid of the storm outside but they left their stuffed animal out there and went to get it only to get lost in the storm. I think the stuffed animals name was Tufty (I'm not sure).
This has been bugging me for years but I can't ever figure it out. It wasn't a very popular bunny and the "episode" or whatever it was was probably 10 minutes or so. Just long enough to show kids that there's no reason to be afraid of storms.
