Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. Since posts are saved into browser cookies as plain text converted into URL Encoding, some characters may be converting back improperly. I wonder if site's PHP is using setrawcookie or rawurldecode.

Actually, let me test out a bunch of characters and see how draft saving handles them:
Original: % | = [ ] < > { } ° @ # $ _ & - + ( ) / ~ * " ' : ; ! ? ^ ` • √ π ÷ × ¶ ∆ £ ¢ € ^ © ® ™ ✓
After saving as draft: % | = [ ] < > { } ° @ # $ _ & - ( ) / ~ * " ' : ; ! ? ^ ` • √ π ÷ × ¶ ∆ £ ¢ € ^ © ® ™ ✓
So yeah, a lot of characters get messed up. Same thing happens to emojis - trying 5 random emojis (🥺🥁💤💭🦑) brings back 🥺ðŸ¥ðŸ’¤ðŸ’🦑 after drafting. Also letters with diacritics - Pokémon becomes Pokémon.

Well the side doesn't support Unicode characters in general, but "+" disappearing is odd.

I have an issue with the double backslash linebreak not being saved in TLP drafts and comments, leading to dialog formatting getting messed up.

Yes the backslash issue is a part of the TLP improvements and changes
.
Just made a post with several + signs, saved it as a draft, and when I got back to it, they were gone and replaced with empty spaces. Not sure if this affects any other symbols, but just thought I should mention it.
