What do you remember about the show?

It is not "Loving Ben" by Elizabeth Laird, also known as "Red Sky in the Morning." Does this seem familiar to anyone?

Any help would truly be appreciated. Almost all of the other queries have at least some suggestions, so I know at least one of you might have some ideas and I know many of you read. Surely, this must seem familiar to someone, please help!

Here are some suggestions a few posted to me on Reedit, so I want to list these in case any of you are considering them.

"What's eating Gilbert Grape" (not it) "The Great Santini" (not it) "The Glass Castle" (not it, but in ways is quite similar)

Now, I know I suggested the brother is Ben and the sister is Lauren, but I am not quite sure, I know the brother's name starts with B, the sister's name starts with L (I think there is one sister), and the nanny's name starts with D (Dena?). The parents had a few other sons, one as I said who cared for Ben (?) but out of obligation. Now I do not know this for sure, but I vaguely remember something about castration. I might be confusing that for something else altogether, but it is just something I vaguely remember reading about the book.

Bump

The answer is the Sound and the Fury, some on reedit were very nice and tried to help me, one solved it, at least not everyone is mean. This is a very popular book, I am amazed not one of you even suggested it. You probably had some idea, but felt like not helping me due to how I used to act here.

I posted a few queries recently and only three tried to help, that is the possible Animorphs episode query, still unsolved. I admitted I was snobbish and I genuinely apologized, but that does not mean you can go on avoiding me, that is just cold. You might not know the answer, but I looked at all the other queries and even the most obscure ones received suggestions, why toss me aside and help everyone else. I want to continue posting here, when I started out, with a previous account, you guys were more than helpful. I even tried to help, then and now. Treat others how you want to be treated and we all deserve help here.

Not trying to be rude, but the reason obscure posts get responses is because people think they know what it is - obscurity regardless. People just don't respond if they don't know what it was, also maybe the multiple posts made people assume others were already helping (I know I sure did).

Well, that does not mean that they cannot help. I have provided much information, and all people must do is glance at who posted the replies. Perhaps if I post another query and I bump occasionally, I might edit no suggestions provided yet in my first post to avoid confusion.

Please do not speak for others, at least someone here could have suggested something given all the information I provided, sadly no one did. At least, people on reedit offered to help. Additionally, I am not an idiot, I can read between the lines very well.
