I really don't see why it matters either way? If it gets deleted from the Quotes page, it's still on the main page. If it gets deleted from the main page, the deleter should be checking if there's a copy in Quotes anyway.

I'm talking about cases where they're exactly the same. If the Quotes version adds more context or useful potholes, then we should keep both.

The idea that quotes cannot be on both pages seems to have come out of the ether. There isn't anything iirc that says it's a thing. Maybe there's an ancient Eddie fiat?

Practically speaking, it's good practice, so that if the page quote gets changed, it's still on the quotes page. It just kinda looks weird for the same quote to be on both pages.

Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.

I've said via PM that we have no specific rule on this point. Aesthetically, it feels redundant, but it's not something that we feel strongly enough about to issue a ruling.
