I've noticed two types of examples of "Romantic" Two-Girl Friendship that seem problematic. The first is two women who become actual romantic partners having this trope used to describe the period before they start dating, which seems to violate the idea that this about platonic friendships that seem romantic. The other is cases where there is genuine ambiguity as to whether one or both of the girls might be romantically attracted to the other. Listing them as this trope seems to be declaring that a romantic reading is objectively false. Am I right in wanting to remove these entries?
