Korra, Asami and Mako deal went through a weird case ship wars and fan preference. I don't think its a crack ship since the two do have interact with each other. A Crack pairing would be the Sasuke Uchiha and Hinata Hyuga from Naruto since they have zero interactions and Hinata is in love with Naruto.
It, quite obviously, doesn't count.
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!More specifically, it never counted.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.In no way or form does Crack pairing apply .
It was a joke ship to many but it wasn't a crack ship. Crack ships are particularly outlandish. Korrasami was out there but not crack ship level.
I recently removed an entry on Crack Pairing which listed Korrasami as a Crack Pairing, but it was quickly back up. The editor said that the pairing was "a fandom joke" in the first two seasons, but is that actually true? My understanding was that it was just another ship, one that no one really believed would be canon, but not significantly more ridiculous than any other. It's only in hindsight that its early incarnations gained any significance. And looked at objectively, even in season one its not any more absurd than any other slash ship, and not nearly enough to count as crack.
