"Hijack" by Herbie Mann?
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Sorry no. The sound was more like a videogame sound almost.
Tragedy by The Bee Gees?
Edited by pikafanNo that's not it sorry. The song was more upbeat than that one if that helps any.
Rock Creek Park by The Blackbyrds? http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=36938. It sounds pretty videogamey to me. Your sample also reminded me of Someday by Cece Rogers: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PPveJo1MZWM. If not, here is a list of songs with clarinet: https://forum.saxontheweb.net/showthread.php?102800-The-Clarinet-in-Rock and songs with flute: http://www.songfacts.com/category-songs_featuring_flutes.php. If its actually sax or synth, then that will be harder to find.
Edited by ash966 “Everything I do got to be funky.”Now that I think about it seemed more like a synthisizer sound. It sounded kinda like the sound that first plays at 1:58 in this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fscXE-GQYI Also I think it had two singers one male one female
This is gonna be really vague but there was this radio station were I live that played mostly 70/80s music, unfortunately they changed it to mostly play more recent stuff so I haven't been able to find it. I can't remember any lyrics but it was kind of disco-y and had a sound effect somewhat like the clarinet (I think that's what it is anyway) in this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBo0QC2Y50Q
