No wonder I couldn't find it. Thanks, man.
So, a long time ago I borrowed a film from my local library and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I cannot find it now.
It was about a princess traveling to some other kingdom in order to be married, and her dowry was being taken with her. The queen felt this was unsafe, so she dispatched a few members of the King's Guard to protect them, feeling no bandit would risk attacking a caravan so heavily protected.
I clearly remember a narrating voice saying "There was nothing wrong with the Queen's plan. It just didn't work" or something to that effect.
What followed was essentially a siege situation as the princess and the guards, along with the dowry, were stranded in an isolated position and surrounding by the bandits, with a former King's Guard helping them in order to achieve his nefarious goals (I can't remember exactly what they were.
Highlights from the film include the traitor former-Guard killing someone from the bandits in a duel, the use of a maneuver called the Tiger Claw(three of the Guards flee from the siege to seem like they're running for help, then run back through the enemy lines killing as many as they can), and lots of arguing back and forth over whether they should run or fight.
As far as I remember, the film was called The Queen's Guard, but I cannot find any trace of such a film by that name. There is a film called "The Queen's Guards" which is about something entirely different.
