What do you remember about the show?

This seems like something Gourmand would do in Wild Kratts (he both hunts and cooks endangered animals), but if you were a kid when you saw this it seems unlikely.

Thanks for the reply. But no. I love the Kratt bros and watched them as a kid. But that was before they had a cartoon show.

This was older. At Reddit they think it might be a Looney Tunes character called Mama Buzzard. This could be right, because it seemed like Looney Tunes style animation. And I want to believe the hunter/chef was Elmer Fudd. I looked up Mama Buzzard in Beaky Buzzard shows and she might fit the nesting bird with long eyelashes, but I still can't find this scene.

I can sort of remember this cartoon's sounds and animation movement even after all these years. I mostly remember the guy pinching her plucked tail and lifting it to salt or baste her rear end and then slapping it (maybe to tenderize? It's such a weird scene!) and then the music sound when she finally wakes up and even her scream. It was a long time ago when I saw it and I remember it bothering me because even back then it seemed disturbing (it's probably not so disturbing and more silly but as a little kid I was bothered by the idea of her being plucked and prepared while sleeping and then her hysterical screams made it all the worse). I mentioned it to someone and they think my mind is twisted! But I know this was real!

That definitely sounds like old cartoon humor, so I don't doubt that that's an actual memory and not a dream. No one would actually dream something like that. Not that nobody has weird dreams, but that's so anachronistic. Some old cartoons can be so freaky, and I remember that my aunt had this collection of old cartoons that she had me watch. She thought I would like them, but no. A lot of old Disney cartoons drew the female animal characters with exaggeratedly big eyelashes, too. I'm sorry, but I don't know exactly what cartoon you're talking about. You might want to search for "best-of" collections of old Looney Tunes cartoons, though.

Omg, I know this. I'll find it soon. I'll reply again when I find it. I was just letting you know that someone else remembers it too!

Thank you for the quick replies! My work computer blocks You Tube (grrr) so I'll have to wait and check the link when I get home tonight. But good grief, I can't imagine this scene being in Peter Pan! I loved that movie! Can't see how this could fit.

Oh God! - I know this for absolutely certain! - I just cannot think, just going to search the old memory for a sec!

Actually when I remembered what I was thinking of, I remembered the scene from Peter Pan that has already been posted (The scene where a seagull lands on a towel on captain hook's head, and Smee absent-mindedly) shaves it with shaving cream) - Sorry about that, but when I pictured it that is what I thought of!

Wow. That's it! Thank you!

I never thought this scene would be from Disney, especially not Peter Pan. I also got confused and thought the seagull was being prepared for cooking instead of her getting her bum accidentally shaved for picking a bad nest. I was also convinced Elmer Fudd was in this scene, but it's Mr. Smee! It's a silly scene, but I still find it kinda weird.

Thanks!
