Are you sure they were teenagers? This is a totally blind shot in the dark, but glancing at the All Periods Are PMS page showed that No Strings Attached apparently has a period scene where the main lady and her friends are all synched.
Yep, pretty sure they were teenagers. And the movie was definitely made in the 2000s. It could have been a made-for-tv/lifetime movie though; I remember watching it on TV.
I think it might have been Sugar and Spice and that's how they found out she was pregnant.

this scene happens within probably the first 20 minutes of the movie. a group of teenage girls are in a bathroom and they are sharing tampons. I think a voiceover might say that they're all on the same cycle. the camera pans on the bottom of the stalls and shows the girls passing a box of tampons to each other from under the stalls. the movie is definitely from the 2000s; I stopped watching it after that scene because I thought I was too young for it and it made me uncomfortable at the time. any ideas?
