A puppet show. The characters are all anthropomorphic Woodland Creatures, played by actors in full body suits and animatronic animal heads. May have had some vibes of Uncanny Valley, mainly because their heads looked somewhat less cartoonish than your average Sesame Street or Muppet Show character. The main characters were a family of - some kind of rodents? (Hamsters? Beavers? Can't remember.) Also, it is not identical to a show known here in Germany as Siggi Sauerstoff (no idea how the English/international title is, if there is one), in spite of a somewhat similar premise.
