I think it's "Blind Feeling," the second single from the "Dreamweaver" LP. Local Rock radio station used to play it as an Album Track, and the Local 6 o'clock News used it for their intro for a while in the 80's...

but could it be Billy Joel's "All for Leyna"?
I remember a song with a kind of fast organ/synthesizer-type thing at the beginning.It lasted at least over 30 sec. and the lyrics were(I think)in the first-person.I don't think it was by The Doors,but I think it was a classic rock song.
