The Who - Baba O'Riley ?
Seconded. Solo opening runs for 32 seconds before piano joins in, and the song is originally from "Who's Next" in 1971.
Nope,sorry.I like that song,though.
It's not "Tunnel of Love" by Dire Straits, is it?
No,I think the synthesizer sounded like the one in Won't Get Fooled Again.
Sparks - This Town Ain't Big Enough?
Is it “Dream Weaver” by Gary Wright?
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!I think it's "Blind Feeling," the second single from the "Dreamweaver" LP. Local Rock radio station used to play it as an Album Track, and the Local 6 o'clock News used it for their intro for a while in the 80's...
It's not for 30 seconds, but could it be Billy Joel's "All for Leyna"?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.
I remember a song with a kind of fast organ/synthesizer-type thing at the beginning. It lasted at least over 30 sec. and the lyrics were(I think)in the first-person.I don't think it was by The Doors, but I think it was a classic rock song.
