Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
As far as High Octane Nightmare Fuel goes, the answer is simple: The rule is that all High Octane Nightmare Fuel entries go in the High Octane Nightmare Fuel section of the site, not on the main page of the work. There are several reasons for this, of which mileage-variation is only one.
OK I'll get to work on fixing those very soon then :)
?
A related question: should tropes now marked as subjective be removed from pages they were added to and caused no problems on before they were labeled "subjective?" For example, I have High Octane Nightmare Fuel linked on a couple pages I maintain, and I'm pretty sure I linked it before it got the "subjective" banner, and the things involved are pretty much agreeable as HONF (e.g. one page I listed it on is someone suffering from osteonecrosis of the hip and leg... I'm pretty sure no one would disagree there, because that's the Real Life equivalent to your bones rotting away while you live)
[Edited: Question that was here as the second question mostly resolved. I checked the Scam Religion page and it doesn't seem to prohibit potholing, just additions to its page from Real Life. So is the Real Life Pot Hole on another page justified when the group in question is 1) involved in a massive lawsuit directly related to its being a scam and 2) when its most ardent devotee left it and sued, its only defense was to personally attack him for having PTSD and start an aggressive stalking campaign, not to state any sort of beliefs or anywhere one could even see their having a point. When something makes Happyology look sane I'm pretty sure it qualifies, no?]
Personally, I'm for "leave it unless people start fighting over it or it actually starts trouble" in both, but I will work on fixing those if that isn't satisfactory enough.
