The maneuver itself is Indy Hat Roll, which includes hat-grabbing and no-hat-grabbing versions.
I'd say your example sounds like Subverted Trope in the sense of "Oh, they're doing the Indiana Jones door escape thing! Hahaha— oh, that looks like it hurts..." as the character gets crushed or bonks their head on the closed door.

And if they run towards the closing door and it actually does close on them before they get through, is it subverting, inverting or averting?
