Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
We have a new thread just for these questions.
Since they (except VillainRevealsTheSecret.Fan Works, but I still don't get if iconed namespaces are automatically split) take two my desktop screens, I wouldn't call them minimal content, but their parent trope pages aren't large enough to warrant subpages.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThis page, especially; it has only seven examples, nowhere near enough for its own subpage.
Also, we've had this before.
Edited by UFOYeahFoomin should also be P Med so that they are aware of the situation.
^^this being the second report for the same behavior does not look good. Were notifiers sent last time? If not, then I can see them just continuing since no one "told" them what they're doing is wrong. If they were and were ignored, however...
Sorry, sorry, I wasn't aware this was such a problem. When I'm splitting up pages, I'm focusing on trying to move as much content as possible in one go so that others don't have to come in and do the work later. Thought that was making things easier, and helping future-proof...
For clarity's sake, how many examples are considered to be "enough" to justify separate pages?
^ Currently under discussion. Feel free to drop by.
Foomin Blue has been splitting trope example pages out to media subpages without leaving any edit reasons. Most of them have such minimal content, it just didn't require to be made into a sub-page as the main trope page wasn't large enough.
Is it alright to move them back to the main page?
