Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

What exactly are you asking?
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meShould it be a Comic Strip or a Comic Book? I say Comic Book.
It's originally a comic strip, and still is. That a comic book adaptation also is popular doesn't change things, IMO. Or maybe we could give each version its own page?
The Strip is always reprinted in the Comic Book as an one-off adventure once the current story line is concluded about once every eight month or so, so from a comicbook reader perspective there is little-to-none difference between the two.
Edited by PhanthomSinghIn which case it absolutely belongs in Comic Strip namespace. That's the original format, and even if they are collected into a book, they were created as strips.
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meThing is, there are also original comic book adventures, that were created specifically for the comic books. A4 format and everything, I think, and not just strips stacked on top of one another.
The division between the namespaces is completely arbitrary, so I say just leave it in Comicstrip/
Ukrainian Red CrossThere are a LOT of Comic Strip sub/headers where The Phantom show up because of name Space, and the rest is 3-panel gag a day strips. There is a difference.
no there's not. we don't namespace works by content, quality, tone, or anything else. published format is the only thing that determines namespace. it should stay in Comic Strip.
Yeah, also its kinda weird that you come here for consensus and then proceed to want to ignore it, topic creator. Sorry if this sounds rude.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. They're right. Comic Strip is the original form of publication and the work should stay there. If you can trope the Comic Book form then you are free to make it.
Also, this discussion should have taken place in this thread, so locking. Any further discussions can be had there.

The Phantom is one of the last surviving proto-super heroes whos strip has been low-key running since 1936. But the wast majority of recurring characters and story-arcs were made in the bi-weekly 30-page Stories from the 70+Year running Comic Books from Scandinavia and Australia). Nothing against the strip but maybe put comic book as the header? Or missed I a definition or three somewhere?
