Looking up that movie, all information checks out, the name Mabel even sounds familiar. I think we found it, thanks for your help!
Horror movie, I THINK it takes place in an Asylum (Maybe it's a prison)? A woman is visiting for reasons I don't recall, but the inmates include a female cannibal, and a very large man who is normally calm, but becomes enraged when he sees red.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
