Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
The original quote was as follows:
Peter: "This is a story of love and loss, fathers and sons, and the foresight to retain international merchandising rights. This is the story of Star Wars."
I think we should restore it, and delete the cast list altogether.
Weren't these regular (if super sized) episodes of Family Guy? Shouldn't they be recap pages instead?
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meIt's supposed to be the Opening Scroll for the special. So, it's imitating how the pages we have for the Star Wars films also have the opening scrolls as the page quote. It's just the one for Family Guy is overly long, even compared to the actual Star Wars films.
I don't think we really need the huge cast list, as the examples make it clear who's who, but the opening scroll is parodying a standard set by the wiki (which, due to its massive offsite notoriety, I think is a good standard to keep), so it's okay with me. The other two are on the Quotes page though, so we could always move the first one there.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'm confused. Is Family Guy Presents: Laugh It Up, Fuzzball the whole Family Guy/Star Wars trilogy ("Blue Harvest", "Something Dark Side" and "It's a Trap")?
I removed the cast list. Although, it could possibly be placed on a separate Characters sheet if the name associations are crucial to understanding the examples.
Edited by eroock"if the name associations are crucial to understanding the examples", then the examples need to explain the associations.

Family Guy Presents: Laugh It Up, Fuzzball features an overlong quote area and a long cast list. I suggest pruning the former and axing the latter. Opinions?
