openShow when I was a child
All I can remember is a fox or a kid being in a room with stacks and stacks of books. He would pick one to read and as he reads it a vortex opens from the pages and he gets sucked into being a part of that story. I think he has to resolve some conflict before being allowed to go back to his world. Not the page master.
openManga about a detective kid Print Comic
In the first chapter, the boy solves the mystery of his (classmate?)'s father's suicide, proving it a murder rather than a suicide, commited by a professor in the university the victim worked at. It was also shown at the end of the chapter that the boy turned into a fox when he went to sleep.
openMovie about some sort of giant spider Film
So I saw part of a movie a while ago, and even though I have no real interest in watching it (being somewhat arachnophobic), I'm still curious as to what it was called. I know at least part of it took place in a jungle, and the spider itself wasn't seen much (at least in the part that I remember). There's a group that goes looking for it, and at one point, webs shoot out of the trees without the spider being seen and someone gets hit in the face. The only other thing I remember is that some researcher finds the spider's web and starts examining it, but the spider sneaks up on him (only showing the shadow). The group finds him tangled in the web later, and I think he tells them that the spider is using him as a host for baby spiders before he dies, kind of like in The Mist. I can't find it in the Giant Spider section. It might have been a Sy Fy movie, but I'm not sure.
openVampire Turning Human Literature
A few years ago, I read a fantasy book in which there was a vampire who wanted to be human again. He accomplished this by refusing to drink blood; I don't remember if there was precedent or if he was just trying something outside the box, but apparently starving oneself would eventually cause a vampire to become human again.
I remember he was a teenager, complete with pimples—everlasting ones that never changed on account of being a vampire. I think he'd become oddly fond of them over the years, and was even a little sad when, once his vampire-ness started fading, they did too.
He wasn't THE main character—I think he was one of several, like a D&D adventuring party—and I don't think his progression as a vampire-turning-human was incredibly prominent, but it was the most unique part of the book so that's all I really remember from it.
I THINK it was set in a medieval-ish world, but I'm not sure.
openAlien Kids' Book Literature
I saw something here recently that reminded me of a book series I read way back when, when I was just a little kiddie. Basically, there was an alien boy with purple skin who lived on Earth and went to school there. I think his father was a diplomat or something. Anyway, he befriended some earthlings and there's a whole book series about him. Ring any bells?
openNeed help remembering an animated series?
There was this show that only had 2 seasons that I watched on Netflix a long while ago and I feel like watching it again but can't remember its name for the life of me. There are 4 (or 5) young heroes, that have guardian creatures kept inside stones. They use special energy type cubes to assist them in defeating the rising villain. The youngest team member wore special boots that enabled her paralyzed legs to walk, and in one episode she got poisoned and the leader had to try and save her and she ended up being really powerful and was able to save everyone. It had a really unique art style, it reminded me a tad of Storm Hawks. If you know what show I may be thinking of, I would be so thankful to know.
open"Shawn Showdown"?? Western Animation
I'm trying to find the name of an American kid's show from the early- to mid-2000s. I remember that it was in a very cartoony style, one of the characters' names was Shawn (?) and another was something like Clay, and they were ninjas or samurai or something like that. I also remember the name "Shawn Showdown" for some reason. I'm pretty sure it had a lot of action scenes because I remember it scaring me a bit when I was young. Thanks!
openIndy-Like Movie Film
This movie had an Indiana Jones-like character. He has a private collection of legendary artifacts in an apartment including the Fountain of Youth, and a sword that was alive, and could fight by itself. The one scene I remember was him buying a vase in an auction and destroying it so he could get a stone inside, and then got into a fight with his archenemy. Oh, and his old butler was in the Fountain for a while, as a young man, and when he stepped out of it, he reverted to his proper age.
openHarry Potter Game Videogame
When I was on a trip to the Philippines back in 2002, I bought what appeared to be a Harry Potter game on the Game Boy Color. It was a side-scroller where you play as Harry riding on his broom. It had an artstyle that severely contrasted with the series' usual look. It was Super-Deformed and the game is never mentioned on Wikipedia. It's possible that it's a pirated game.
Edited by superboy313openArmored car robbery show/movie Live Action TV
My friends and I watched a show or movie on TV in about 2002 to 2004 with the plot of what I can remember of a team of criminals pulling off various heists. At one point they use two regular passenger cars to block an armored truck from the front and back and the truck was unable to move at all and the tires just spun on the pavement. We all remember watching it and laughing because the 12 ton armored truck couldn't push a 2 ton car out of the way, but none of us remember anything about the title or who may have starred in it. Google searches have failed and only turn up famous movies like "Heat." I found another movie that seemed to fit the description ("Steal" from 2002) but it didn't have that scene. Thanks to anyone who can tell me what show that comes from.
openSome horror-genre children's books from the '90s...not Goosebumps, I don't think... Literature
All right, so there's a few different ones. I have a partial name for two of them: 1. "Bites" is one but I don't think that can be the whole name. It was a short collection of stories, most I think if not all involving vampires. I only remember one story though, about a boy who was adopted by a vampire couple. They invited their friends over to help hunt him. It was really odd because if I remember right they said they would have kept him if they could, and they reassured him that all the things he'd need to defend himself were in the garden. I think he defeated all the vampires except one but I don't remember which one. I would like to remember the rest of the stories if only I could...
2. "The Mask" another scary story anthology. The Mask was one of the stories. I don't know the full title, but that story was about a boy who got picked on for going trick or treating without a cool costume. Then he showed them the *human* mask he wore every day and it turned out he was a monster or alien or something. Again I don't remember the other stories or the full title.
3. Okay this one is the hardest for me. Again I think this is an anthology of scary stories and may or may not be a completely different book. (I think yes, because there were no vampires in this one.) I have no idea of the title of the book OR the title of the story. It's about a girl who's discovered literally in a basket on the doorstep of a childless couple. They're white (and American, I think) while she looks Middle Eastern or something like that, and it takes forever to adopt her, but they do. I do not remember what they name her, but I remember the line, "Fondly, her parents called her 'princess'." (yes, I tried Googling it, got nothing.)
The mom dies when the girl's only a few years old, so the dad sends her to boarding school and takes her on trips around the world on her holidays. (He's some kind of scientist. Archaeologist?) During the Main Plot, he takes her to Egypt and the girl (who's now 14-16, somewhere in there, don't remember precisely) goes around Cairo by herself for a bit. She finds a dump but then suddenly *bang* everything changes, and it's like she's transported into the past to when the place was a beautiful ancient city. She takes photos of it and a really weird cab driver takes her back to the hotel. She develops the photos but her dad thinks she's going crazy. The cab driver tells her at some point that she was born in the past, at the Ancient City of (Whatever, it's a name I can't remember) and her real father's the King. She goes back with the cab driver (Who is apparently the King's servant/slave/whatever) and sees her real father's funeral procession, takes photos of that. Returns to present and shows the photos to her dad and the (curator? director?) of the museum, who both still think the whole thing's crazy. She goes back to the cab driver, who takes her to the past again, and this time she doesn't reappear. Her dad and the museum people dig up the old dump and find the tomb she took pictures of, and there, next to the sarcophagus of the King, is...a mummified girl - with a camera hanging around her neck. O_O
So yeah, I remember that story in pretty vivid detail, but not the names of any characters, or the ancient city, or what book it's from. Help would be good if anyone knows anything about it.
Thanks very much in advance.

openName of Television Show
I was trying to tell my son about a show back in my childhood, but I can't remember the name or the characters, anything other than the opening credits. It's likes a zoo or circus show and the main character or all the characters come flying around over the ground and maybe a big top on some kind of flying bike or man powered bike... can someone please help me remember the name of this show before it drives me crazy!! Thank you!
openFloating eye Live Action TV
This has been bugging me for years. I think it was a TV show. There's this scene where a girl is walking through a creepy house and she sees a cabinet filled with glass eyeballs. She moves away from the cabinet and one of the eyes floats out and follows her, then she heads into the basement. I think it was a TV show, could have been a movie. Or maybe a messed up dream
open007 Rip-off Film Film
There was a 007-ish film I saw once. All I remember about is was during the opening credits, there was a blonde in high heels (I think) with a silver pistol and she fired it straight at the screen.
openSneeze gender-swap Anime
A few hours ago, A friend told me about an anime that involves people who change gender when ever they sneeze, and at age 16, the two genders become seperate entities. Unfortunatly, I've already forgotten the name of it, so can anyone tell me the name, please?
openAsian (possibly Korean) Kid's Show
Help! I've been looking for this show for years but I just can't seem to remember. It was about two aliens- a yellow alien and a purple alien- in a spaceship. They both wore red hats. Also, in order to turn on the spaceship, they needed to turn it on with a card. Thank you!
P.s. It aired in the early 2000s

I've been trying to remember the name of this animated movie (or show) I used to watch. It may be early to mid 90's. The basic plot I remember is that this group of girls somehow end up in some strange place and it smells really bad, and they are trying to get back home and they have to get passed a villain. The part I remember the most is the villian's face before the screen cuts to black. She has like a purpleish gray face and a toothy grin. I also remember the only way they escaped was by singing.
There was another one I couldn't remember the name of. It was a live action about 3 kids who travel with a bear (person in a costume) and they fly on a flying curbed. It was just be an episode I thinking of but they sing. The boy sings about a green and yellow zoot suit. Sorry if this is vague.

I have been looking for this show for years- i saw it when I was about 5-8 years old. So it's from before 1996. It's about a alien family who is fleeing from a series of bad guys. The main focus point is the family's daugther. The thing I remember the most: Is when the big bad kidnapped the daugther, but it turned just as the episode ended. That the grandmother had shapedshifted into her own granddaugther. In the following episode, we saw that a family friend had also been kidnapped and it appeared that the grandmother and the friend met a very horrible end in some kind of pit.
