openCGI fantasy cartoon Western Animation
I'm trying to remember a cartoon I've seen 10+ years ago. I only clearly remember the villain (Big Bad or The Dragon) - a woman who got cursed and turned into a monster with wings, fish tail instead of legs and snakes instead of hair. She couldn't walk and was always flying. The only other thing I remember is that the protagonist had a tiny talking dragon. Does anyone know this?
openCreepy Stories Show with a raven in the opening
This one's a super vague memory, but my dad once rented this show (or maybe it was an original production or something because I don't remember ever seeing it on TV or anything) and it was essentially a bunch of creepy short stories? I mean, I think they were creepy, but I don't actually remember any of the stories so they might've been more neutral. I want to say none of them were modern and that they were more medieval themed, but I don't think any of the stories were connected. I do really distinctly remember the theme song, which I think was just instrumental, as having a raven flying in it (and I want to say it was either horrible CGI or just very poorly edited and goofy looking) and also maybe a crystal ball? I also feel like the "episodes"/stories were super short. Kind of like medieval Twilight Zone?
openPrison World Literature
It was a '70s science fiction novel, the characters were the descendents of prisoners who had forgotten they were on a prison planet, and the starport and other facilities were protected by laser fences.
openHalloween series with scary stories
This was a short series that only aired at halloween, very recent, in which each episode was a story told by a babysitter. The one episode I remember (i think the first one) had all the people of a town being turned into shrunken head apple dolls.
openNo Title Western Animation
I know it was about Abe Lincoln, I saw this on tape and it was animated in the 80s-90s. The parts I remember are of him speaking at Gettysburg and the White House guards denying Frederick Douglass(?) from entering. I think Turner Broadcasting made it.
openEducational zoo animal show with puppets and animation? 90's VCR? Film
I have searched and searched for the title of this vcr tape and just cannot find it. When I was a little girl I had a tape (I'm assuming it was a show) that I think was an educational show about wild/zoo animals. I remember there being puppets (lions, bears, and whatnot) all positioned in different areas on a rock or mountain and they would sing. There was also cartoon animation and actual filming of live animals as well. I think it was narrated by a woman, but could have also been narrated by a man. Does anyone know what I'm talking about here? I can't remember the name of it to save my life... Thanks in advance!!
Edited by TaylorM98openA movie about a fake university. Film
It's like a film about some peepz who don't go to university and falsificate something so they go to an abandoned hospital, clean it up, and then make it look like an university, so it looks like they're on a university but they are just playing, but then a guy comes up and says that he was accepted, revealing that (about) 299 other people were also accepted for the university so he kinda changes the place, they also take the name of another ACTUAL school and they later get sued.
openLooking for a sci-fi webcomic set at sea Webcomic
There's this webcomic i was fan of in the past but i forgotten about the name of the webcomic. However, i do remember how the story went.
A young boy from modern Earth gets transported to a steampunk like world set in the ocean where he gets thrown off by pirates and gets rescued by a group of sailors where one of the crew members is this large cyborg guy in armor. The boy forms a friendship with one of the crew members, a girl, who he later learns he had meet her before when they were children when the girl somehow ended up transported to his world before returning back.
openA kid movie related to Frankenstein monster Film
There was this movie i once saw as a kid about these two brothers who were close with their dad as they were fans of classic horror movies. After the brothers are caught sneaking in a Drive-in theater and returned home, they learn their dad has just died either due to a heart attack or accident. Missing him, the brothers and their friends try to make a Frankenstein monster to bring their dad back.
openSome cartoon with three girls Western Animation
I remember seeing some cartoon where the art style looked like South Park with three girls. They give a makeover to one of the girls' little sisters, making her look like what I think was a slut or a delinquent. Her mother got mad at the girls, and one of them asked "What's the worst that could happen?" The sister then rides off with a biker. I remember the end card said "Blah Blah Blah", but I don't know whether of not that was the title that I was thinking of. I think I saw it on a talk show or something like that, because some women gave their opinion on it, one of which I clearly remember calling it "my new best friend". Or maybe I'm remembering something wrong. Either way, I remember the cartoon somewhat clearly (mainly the ending) but I haven't found it since. I did a Google search on "blah blah blah cartoon", but nothing that looked like what I was searching for popped up.
openOld anime about civil war and girls
There was this show that aired on antenna television that I watched a lot when I had no cable about there 4 girls I think and they lived in the beginning of the civil war, it had a catchy theme and the girls always wait for the father to come back from war. It looked a lot like an anime, I think it was.
openMovie about theater closing and kids trying to save it? Film
It was I think a Christian movie because it aired on a Christian kids network but I'm not sure, it was about these 3 freshman kids I think it was 2 girls and 1 guy, they were just starting highschool when I think the kid ran into a homeless black man that was playing the harmonica. He befriends the two other girls (They all have different intros) so then the homeless man told them that he lived in an abandoned theater that he went to/ worked at when he was younger and wants to save it. The kids agree to help him save it and invest money. I specifically remember the scene when the boy was worried about breaking his glass piggybank open and the girl did it for him. Meanwhile there are some corporate antagonists who want to demolish the theater and build a mall in its place, I think it was one of the girls' father who was the leader of the project. At the end/ climax they have a giant play to earn more money and give the theater hope to open again. I remember watch it in the middle of the night on a television network called "Smile of a child" which was a Christian channel that aired Christian cartoons for children which is why I think it may or may not be a Christian film. Anyone know it?
openFlight Attendant punched - lady dies - loose ferret Live Action TV
Show recently on that reenacted a flight attendants first day where an old lady died , a guy set off the smoke alarm in the bathroom, a guy punched a flight attendant and a ladies ferret got loose.....
openAnime with angels + demons...? Anime
I'm trying to find the name of a show I watched in anime club some time ago (probably 2012-2013)...I remember that the main character was an angel who mainly dressed in white with small wings (I think they got bigger when she was fighting, but that might be my memory getting mixed up). Her companion was some sort of demon boy who (I think) was shirtless most of the time. All I remember from the episode(s) I saw was that it started with the angel girl at the bottom of some sort of large pit/hole in the ground, partially buried by rubble, and she was dug out by the demon boy. Later on, there was a scene with another, older demon guy who was a Christian for some reason, and they were making fun of him because of it. The older demon guy wanted the angel girl's powers or something, too, and at the end of the episode he fell into some sort of chasm (?) while the main characters walked away. Thanks for any ideas of what this might be!
openOld anime with talking animals Anime
It's a thing I actually never saw, except for a particular scene used sometimes on 4Chan as a reaction pic. From the looks it seems an anime from the 70's, and shows this cartoony-looking bear saying he's getting angry and then he reveals that he is actually a more realistic bear in a costume.
openCartoon series about king kong and other animals being controlled by humans through some device Western Animation
I watched this cartoon series as a kid. In it there is a good guy who goes inside the brain of his huge gorilla (probably king kong) and they become very powerful. other people also control mind of other animals. there is a tiger i think. can somebody help?
openHanna-Barbera Cartoon From ending theme Western Animation
What cartoon (TV show or Movie) ended with an ending theme that ended with this over the (late 80s - early 90s) Hanna-Barbera logo?
resolved Manga About People with Animal Features who Spontaneously Combust
I'm looking for the title of a manga where characters that are a Little Bit Beastly tend to experience fatal Spontaneous Human Combustion. Their animal attributes amount to little more than ears and tails and they live amongst regular humans, but are treated as second class citizens due to Fantastic Racism and live in relative poverty. I think their combustion had something to do with a drug habit? Like taking the drug in question results in an increased probability of randomly bursting into flames. I'm almost certain the main character's girlfriend dies this way in the first chapter. (Also that the main character was high school student/ young adult who was part cow, or had cow-like attributes.)
For what it's worth, the manga was likely published some time between 2000 and 2011/ 2012. I'm pretty sure I read it while clicking around on some scanlation site. I don't know how much of it was actually published, as I can't recall reading more than a few chapters. It wasn't very well written, but it's bugged me that I can't figure out what it was called.
opendimension travel artifact/tech Western Animation
I'm trying to remember an animated show from the 90s or early 2000s where some kind of dimension artifact/tech transported at least three people into a weird alien medieval-ish dimension where at least some of the inhabitants were non-human. The main character was Indiana Jones like with a standard hero quarterback build. The other two were a big muscle guy best friend who has above average intelligence for the standard big muscle guy in animation at the time, and he mostly held off the enemies whenever the hero needed time to figure out a puzzle or defeat the bag guy of the episode. The third character was the female action love interest who was capable of taking out a few mooks on her own but fewer than the other two.
There was at least one episode where they had to fight in a gladiator arena and another where there was a big evil tower that they needed to infiltrate/fight there way up where a high up bad guy was. The show goal was trying to find away home and maybe understand some of the ancient artifacts/tech from a long lost civilization.
I think maybe the season/series finale had them getting home with a shot of the three (or more) characters standing in a room with lots of glass windows (some broken) with a rainstorm outside and one character stating that they were back home in the exact room where they were originally transported.
I don't remember much, but I think the robots were disguised as humans, with very few people knowing that they were in charge. I think there was one woman who was trying to get close to the leader of the robots. At some point the leader was damaged, possibly it the face, revealing his true nature. I'm also pretty sure the ending had the humans coming out of whatever structure they were living in, into the outside world, and ended there.
