openManga Series that I forgot the title of. Print Comic
Hi! I'm looking for a manga series that I read a few years ago but can't remember the name of. It's about a young girl who doesn't have any friends, you know, a bit of an anti-social person. But, through circumstances, she has to socialize with people in order to find monsters/demons. One day, she makes a couple of friends after she helps them get something that fell over a bridge and she takes off her shoes to get it for them. Afterwards, they catch up to her and ask her about her favorite celebrity in a magazine. And near the end of the first or second book, she has to confront a monster of some kind in a school gym. Can someone help me with this, please?
openPlease, help me with the title of animated tv show. Western Animation
I dont remember the title of tv show. if i'm not making mistake it's 90s show about team of monster (all different, from different countries/worlds). Monsters were small. And, as i remember, there was a boy.
openComedy shorts about robots on CN
I remember watching a series of comedy shorts about giant robots on Cartoon Network comercial breaks around 2007, if not japanese then japan-influenced at least. I should note that the CN I'm talking about is the brazilian one.
openSong with a Suspiciously Similar Chorus Music
I heard this song the other day playing in Wal-Mart. It sounded kind of like soft rock/folk. The chorus sounded a lot like "I Want It That Way" by The Backstreet Boys (not like I listen to them or anything), specifically the part where they sing "ain't nothin' but a heartache." In the song, it was a whole step (two pitches) lower than "I Want It That Way," and it went something like "ain't nothin' but love(?)," and was sung by an older male singer. The tune sounded undeniably similar, though. Anyone know what it was?
openSHOW I THINK WAS ON BBC BUT MAY HAVE BEEN US/CANDIAN ORIGIN
the show was about a boy who had a moving tiger tattoo and I think he had to get it back to his owner which was a biker or something helpppp!!!!
openI don't fully remember it, but I think it was canadian, and on Nickeloden Western Animation
I don't remember much from it, but it was a cartoon about a kid, who I think it was a pervert. There was this episode where his family buy a dog, but while the dog loves the family, it hates the protagonist. The opening, I think, was kinda wacky, with all the characters dancing, or at least, a fat man who, was at first dancing with his wife (I think), but then went full disco all alone.
openBig Burger play Literature
I remember reading a short play for kids that I believe was called "Big Burger" in a book of plays and other classroom activities. The play started off with an offstage bird making sounds. There was also a character that I believe was named "Big Burger", and IIRC his name was the only thing he could say. It sounds like it may have been a critique of consumerism.
openKids' show about a weird machine Live Action TV
So I happened to watch this european kids' show in the 90's (I think). it revolved around a group of kids and a spherical machine that caused items placed within it to transform into other, weirder items. The language spoken seemed slavic but I haven't been able to find it so far by browsing the tropes of the countries.
Edited by Drachan91openPower Rangers Commentary Channel
So, a few years back I used to watch this youtube channel where two guys would make funny comments over a full power rangers episode, I specifically remember them finishing at least RPM and were probably in the middle of Megaforce, but they ended up deleted off youtube for using the entire episodes, not mirrored or anything, and I can't remember their name, any help? I'm also looking for alternative links for their videos (used up the word mirror back there, so I wouldn't want to confuse anyone).
Edited by DSIanopenMetal eating monster in medieval fantasy that turns gigantic Film
I remembered way back sometime between 1997-1999 on the Disney Channel they aired a movie involving a teenage boy who finds a creature (who is a little bigger than a kitten at first) which eats iron and other metal things which in doing so causes the creature to grow bigger. I didn't get to see how it ended, but the last bit I did see was when the boy looking on, in an "OMG what have I done!" matter, at the creature (now by this point about four stories tall or taller) fighting knights at a castle.
openAesop show ?? Western Animation
I vaguely remember a show about kids who were constantly told stories by some sort of creature. The story would have to do with whatever problem the children were facing in that episode and oftentimes when they returned home, they'd do the right thing, similar to the hero of story that the creature told them. In one episode, the boy breaks his father's camera after being told explicitly not to touch it. He lies and says he was sitting down and it fell over. After riding his bicycle and hearing a story from the creature about how important it is to tell the truth, he goes home and confesses. The other protagonist is a girl she is definitely a token twofer of some kind. The boy's family is really poor. In fact, another episode involves him griping about not being able to go to "Virtual City"(A videogame theme park.) for his birthday. (His parents just wanted to order pizza and play games.) The last thing I remember is that both characters typically rode their bikes to meet with the creatures that dealt out these Aesops. If anyone remembers what this show is called,, help is appreciated.
Edited by BenthelameopenNo Title Literature
Okay, I have only VERY vague recollections of this, but I'm going to give it a go anyway. In fourth grade, our teacher red us a book about a creature, he was some kind of gremlin or shadow-type fantasy animal. There were a couple of kids, possibly a girl and a boy, and I think they were the only ones who could see him, though I'm not sure. They may have had a treehouse? The creature lived underground, or in the tunnels under the city and it was a nice animal, though very mischevious. I recall parts of it being quite dark, possibly even scary, and sad sometimes. I seem to remember lots of rocks being invovled for some reason, and a red cloak or ribbon? When I think back on it, I know I was reminded a bit of Dahl and Where the Wild Things Are, though I don't think it was written by Dahl or Mercer.
It's driving me crazy. I wish I had more.
openNo Title Western Animation
A show about a boy and his something, probably a cheetah. The style and look of the characters was very similar to Tintin, and there was a Captain Haddock figure with a white beard and possibly a safari hat. I think the setting was Morocco or somewhere in Africa, there was a dessert. The villain wore purple and a fez and had a black beard and there was also a tall dark woman who might have been the villain's daughter.
openSomeone is made attractive but the way they've been made attractive withers them away
I had a sudden recollection of a scene in something (I believe it was either a show or a movie, I don't think it was a book or video game) where a vain person (I think a child, and I also believe it's a boy but I could be mistaken) wants to be made attractive and some kind of magical entity (I believe a major villain or antagonist) makes them just that by giving them something they took away from somebody else, which causes them to wither away. I apologize if I don't remember the details properly, I had a dream where this scene played out with Cinder and Whitley from RWBY, where Whitley is made into a handsome man by Cinder giving him "his father's old skin" which causes him to wither away into an aged pile of flesh that begs to be put out of his misery. I do not believe the actual scene had anything to do with RWBY, but after I thought about it I realized the scene DID seem familiar and that my dream was very similar to something I had seen, except not with RWBY characters. Can somebody please help? Thanks!
opennew tv drama Live Action TV
i only saw the trailer for the show about a month ago, I don't remember where, so it's possible it hasn't come out yet but i would like to find it all the same. the show is about a girl who gets cast in this movie/tv show with a famous guy(the male lead). They begin pretending to date to cover up some secret the guy has. I believe she is getting paid to date him. The style of the show looks like something on the CW or lifetime.
openSUPER ROBOT WARS ESQUE GAMES
Hey how are you guys these days? I am looking for games that are like SRW. Rather if it's a crossover with strategy, or SRPG in general.
openKids to storytelling show Live Action TV
There was this show when I was a kid, I think it was on nickelodeon or something, and it would always start in a theatre type of way with a curtain (I think) and there was a kid host. Kids/teens would write in with their made up stories and the show would make them into a live action for that episode. I think it was similar to 'who's afraid of the dark' but they didn't sit around a campfire and they weren't all scary stories. Please help! I've been trying to figure out what this show is for years!!
openNo Title Western Animation
I'm looking for this old cartoon that was aired in what I guess is either the late 90's or early 2000. It's about a team of four kids (two girls, two boys if I remember right) that go and hunt different types of spirits, with Elementals being the hardest. They had this side-kick that is basically a small pink blob with arms and legs who used to be a child in what I THINK was the Netherworld, and his bad behaviour got him transformed into that and banished. It was shot in this wierd, interesting style, the four kids were 2D and everything else was 3D.
There was a show where this guy lived with monsters he and a few others could see only and he went to catch other monsters and put them into jars.
