I knew Ike was supposed to be big (I feel like that one Smash Brawl Snake call about him easily swinging the Ragnell around with one hand, despite being spin-off material, does at least help drive that home), but I didn't realize Soren was that tall. I guess it makes sense, considering his heritage, but that mage durability definitely gets in the way of picturing him as tall.

I don't think the portraits in Path showed him as being very tall, either.

Also, Framme and Edelgard are the same height.

Any interaction that requires a child (IIRC recruiting Devdan is one), using Soren for it counts

so he's meant to come off as young, which implies shortness

Heights in Japanese media always tend to be a little odd; I've seen plenty a chart showing how random girls from slice of life shows are actually the same official height as Vegeta.

Vegeta really is a Short King though.

x3 Clearly the answer is that Tellius is a land of Giants and being 5’10 is short enough to be considered a child.

Ever wanted a Boundary Break video about Fire Emblem (AKA that series where the game's camera is manipulated to show stuff the devs didn't want you to see)? Well, there is a video for Fire Emblem Awakening now.

My big takeaway of it is that the CG artwork used for Chrom getting married has a ton more detail than you would (mainly with the bride).

Ye, but that one happened due to a mix of headcanons + the JP voice acting giving her a very different take on Marth (which she also made fun of).

...Unless doing so works in your favor big time, that is.

I remember some people on this site thinking Marth's "皆！見ていてくれ!" was meant to be egotistical and show-offy due to an iffy translation, and this very site had people going on about how Smash changed his personality.

I think a more accurate translation was something along the lines of "Everyone! Watch over me!" which is definitely more in line with Marth's personality.

I still remember being kind of surprised to find out Hikaru Midorikawa was Marth's voice actor, since I was a bit more used to his "cool brooding guy" type characters which Marth is most definitely not.

Vander also didn't spend his entire life caring for Alear. He used to be Lumera's steward, and she transferred him to the Somniel later in his career (his S support reveals that he actually resented that at first).

Also, I feel like training kids to be what's effectively care home nurses for a comatose patient for the rest of their life is kind of gross (and not so easy a ride as Awkward!Framme would assume).
