Not much of a figure collector, especially given how expensive they can be, but the figure itself looks pretty neat.

I actually love Mika’s art even if I’m not a big fan of her designs. They all look like they should be holographic cards.

(Also Mika’s favorite character is Claude which earns her brownie points with me)

I don't like the series' shift to 3D models, but the actual character art is great. Just wish we got to actually see more of it ingame :p

Began my playthrough of a Blazing Blade mod called Fire Emblem Remastered, which I suppose is a rebalancing and QOL mod?

The first thing you notice is that the weapon triangle is even more effective than before, with the bonuses to damage and accuracy shooting way up. For example, Sain equipped with a Lance will only have 37% chance to hit a bandit (which is actually even lower considering how True Hit works). This means that the Paladin class with its complete weapon triangle is even better than before, and sword-locked and axe-locked classes are even worse.

The second thing is that EXP gain is increased tremendously, almost like everyone has the Paragon skill on. Florina was able to level-up twice with 4 mook kills, and boss kills are often enough for a full level up. While this can help late joining units catching up faster, it also means that early joining units can snowball even earlier, and able to rise out of their "crappy" starts. Traditionally low-damage units like Florina and Lowen can start scoring ORKO much earlier if they get a lot of level ups early and hit the right weapon triangle.

Chapters 4-6 of Fire Emblem Remastered

Florina and Sain turned out to be monsters in combat, with both of them managing to gain Strength for 5 straight levels, or even more in Sain's case. While Sain is only a little more lucky than average, Florina is so above average that either I'm super lucky or Florina got her growth rate changed.

Another thing I noticed is that Archers have been buffed. They now have weapon advantage over mages, and they have Short Bows which serve as the equivalent of Hand Axes and Javelins.

So lore question, when exactly was Takumi possessed by Anankos in Conquest?

Like he starts having headaches after his first fight with Corrin, but at the same time, he fell into the bottomless canyon in Birtright, and I think Anankos can only start possessing people once he's had some kind of contact with them.

I believe you must be in Valla first to be vunerable to possession. Gunther was only possessed after falling into Valla during Revelation.

I guess so, because otherwise Anankos could use his emotion bomb powers more often instead of at select targets.

But did Takumi fall into Valla in a Conquest timeline? is it one of those things we have to assume happened because it happened in Birthright despite the different circumstances?

Iirc I believe he does too. While in both BR and CQ it happens offscreen, only in Birthright Azura is able to heal Takumi before Anankos' possesion of him escalates further like in Conquest.

Just think. If Conquest Corrin had actually kept the Hoshidan royals prisoner after dispatching Zola instead of releasing them back to Hoshido, Azura might have noticed Takumi in the throes of possession and cured him just like she did in Birthright.

…I just learned Soren is 5’10 aka as tall as Dimitri before the timeskip. Even their models are the same height in Engage.

It never registered for me despite how BIG Ike is supposed to be.
