Also, can you still deliver lost items after the timeskip?

On the topic of Three Houses, I'm very impressed so far, however I haven't beaten the game on all paths so I'm avoiding talking/reading about it at the moment.

So on the earlier discussion, Mystery of the Emblem is all about the history of the Fire Emblem, its purpose and restoring the Emblem, hence the title.

Should be noted in all versions of Shadow Dragon, there is only one Earth Dragon and one Earthstone, though in the NES version all Manaketes share the same class, so Medeus is unique because of his weapon.

RE: Karkat The Dalek

There are Ballistas in Mystery of the Emblem, they just can't be used by the player, not even in the remake.

After reading some semi-spoiler stuff, I kind of regret picking BL first. The existence of Church, the fact that the events of Church makes Edelgard easier to understand/more rewarding, Church being too similar to GD, and I'm pretty sure I read someone say that GD has the best ending. I think after I finish BL I'll do Church, then Edelgard, then GD. Any objections?

I'm hearing the new Switch OS update (out now) fixes the Three Houses Expansion Pass crashes.

It's all about the character drama in BL.

GD has the most lore of the world.

BL is the most character centric.

BE is about learning why Edelgard did what she did.

Church has the most lore about yourself.

Which one is the best ending is more personal opinion then anything. There is no real golden ending, though GD is probably the best to play if you’re only playing one route.

Actually, after reading some more discussions, I think I'll do Deer, then Edelgard, then wait until the DLC comes out to do the Church.

Well, it's possible he survive in Silver Snow . Unless you assume Byleth lost it.

It's closest to Golden Route given Claude is most likely to survive too

Claude also survives in Crimson Flower, so long as you don't go swinging willy-nilly. It also seems likely that his retreat could result in at least cordial relations between Almyra and Adrestia after the war, since there's no indication that the later attack on Fodlan's Locket was ordered by Claude. I wouldn't assume unconditional goodwill from Claude von Riegan of all people, but his goals for Fodlan do seem to align with Edelgard's fairly well.

That was just one of their regular brawls Almyrans like to engage in. They haven't tried to seriously invade Fodlan since before Fodlans locket was made.

I never really get why people keep talking about how Claude and Edelgard could work together. They do realize that Claude is only one of five ruling lords, right? Do people expect him to betray the Leicester Alliance or something?

[up]Why not? House Gloucester sides with the empire, House Daphnel would support Claude, and like that you already have 3/5 of the ruling houses siding with Adrestia. It doesn't work because neither Claude nor Edelgard are able to compromise on their own dream. Claude is willing to give it up, but only if the other option is death.

Claude also isn't fanatically intolerant of what's different because he's always been different, and prefers seeking the truth and context before he acts. Which is why by the end of his route he sees Slytherin as the real problem and Rhea was just another victim once he gets the truth he seeks.

Three Houses goes out of it's way to make sure each lord don't team up at all in any meaningful capacity, like in gronder field, Claude and Dimitri should be working to stop Edelgard but don't because bullshit fog, or why Claude suddenly leaves in BL. Also i think Claude would be more likely to work with Edelgard than Dimitri, Edelgard isn't intolerant of outsiders, (The quote about her saying Claude has no right to change Fodlan because he's an outsider is fake news.) is willing to open up Fodlan's borders, treats Petra quite well, the empire doesn't run an extermination program on Brigid despite being attacked first, and distrusts Rhea like Claude. Dimitri is more vague about borders, but he does treat Duscar people well and saved Dedue's life, but the kingdom ran an extermination program on them and subjugated their lands which might make Claude uncomfortable.

Speaking of favorite lords, i think Claude and Edelgard tie for me as the best lords in the series. With Dimitri taking second place, and Eliwood in 3rd.
