This exists.

You'll have to remake it for other ghost ring sights.

I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot

Now, put Yuyuko on the ghost ring and you are onto something. A ghost on the moe ring.

Russia To Adopt AGS-40 "Balkan" Automatic Grenade Launcher In 2018.

Caseless grenades with 35g more HE than NATO equivalents, 2500 meter range (presumably area target), 32 kg in weight including tripod, 400 rpm rate of fire...

That's twice as heavy as the AGS-30 isn't it?

One of the biggest advantages of the lighter grenade launchers the Russians use is that it can be carried around, set up, and ultimately manned by just one person without too much trouble.

Sounds like this is meant more for defending fixed emplacements anyways, so once you get it set up, you're not too worried about moving it again in the near future.

Maybe they're gonna park them on their airfield perimeters.

Here's a new one for all you Tavor lovers out there. And this one's a shotgun.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/01/17/iwi-tavor-ts12/?

Looks... alright... I guess? But rather heavy:

"Other features include MLOK accessory attachment points, optic rail and Benelli/Beretta choke tube compatibility. Adding an estimated weight of 2lbs of 15 shotgun shells on to the unloaded weight of 8lbs* of the TS 12, shooters could be swinging a near 10-pound shotgun when all is said and done."

WW2 Weapons Extremely Well-Preserved In A Swamp.

Russian peat bog that is. Most of the weapons and magazines recovered there look like they'd actually still function after a thorough cleaning.

PTRD anti-tank rifles, Mosin-Nagants, a lot of magazines for various things be it a Maxim gun, DP-28, PPSh drums, MP-40, some grenades and a whole lot of ammo including mortar rounds that may or may not still be live.

Oh and a gas mask.

And most of all of it is in surprisingly good condition.

I met this guy over the weekend who showed me pics of a double-barreled bolt-action rifle. Apparently it was made by the same gunmaker who currently offers that doubled 1911 .45 pistol... It's two Mauser-type bolt action rifles mated together, where one bolt-handle operates both bolts.

Don't ask me why.

I'd get the idea behind a double barrel pump action shotgun, but a twin bolt action rifle? Must be awkward as fuck to operate.

BREAKING: Russian Army Adopts AK-12/AK-15 And AEK-971/AEK-973 Rifles For Military Service. (For Real This Time)

Too bad the AK-12/15 is not the same hotness of its "Gen 1" version that made everyone adore it. But I'm curious if the AEK-971/973 is the A545/A762 modernized version. (I can't remember the GRAU designation of A545, it has one I know that. EDIT: Found em, 6P67/6P68 respectively.)

EDIT 2: The GRAU designations mentioned in the announcement do imply A545/A762 versions rather than actual AEK-971/973.

Stupid question from newb time:

Can you suppress a shotgun? How effective would that be, and is there any practical reason to do so?

It's for a possible comic idea.
