You know, i wonder Why wasn't Baron Bedlam already sentenced to death, isn't that usually the punishment for treason and regicide?
It's possible he already was and was on death row.
Disgusted, but not surprisedLooking at the clip Bedlam said "You have no evidence!" and Gregor said that Bedlam could be held during the investigation. There's a chance he hadn't gone to trial yet.
I wonder if the investigation had finished by then, since some time had past by the time of the season 3 finale.
It's probable that Markovia, like most countries in Europe, doesn't allow capital punishment. One could infer just that by the fact that Bryon felt the need to take justice into his own hands, with the logic that Bedlam would inevitably break out of jail eventually.
I'm curious how Kara would be done. Darkness falls was a weird story but their version of Kara was FANTASTIC
Random question: for anyone who's read both old school Kon El Superboy and maybe original comic book Young Justice, anyone know where Dubbilex ranks in terms of both Telepathic and Telekinetic powers?
I'm vaguely curious how he stacks up to M'gann and J'onn on that front, even if Martians being Telekinetic was something invented for The Batman and then carried over to this series.
One Strip! One Strip!Do Ecks and Doubleecks have anything to do with each other? I don't mean in this continuity, but I recall an episode of Batman the Brave and the Bold that had one as like some sort of super-powered evil side of the other or something?

Not saying that he couldn't do other things, but powers-wise, all of my memories of Dubblex are of him either using long range telepathic communication or manipulating other people's perception of him so he could go around in public incognito.
He wasn't much of an action guy and it caught me off guard when he was telekinetically tossing things on Young Justice.
But thinking in retrospect, he must have had TK in the comics because his role at one point was watching over Superboy and teaching him how to use his TK powers better.
Honestly, i kinda liked that Luthor in the third season got shades of his classic pettiness.
Yeah. Pettiness defines Luthor so much. While it was interesting to see him without that for a bit, Luthor's just not Luthor if he's not being a small minded asshole.
One Strip! One Strip! It still feels weird to see a Luthor who isn't obsessed with getting one over Superman. He's more of a generally petty asshole now in YJ. He was like that in the comics too, but he was especially petty when it came to Superman.
The comic storyline leading up to him deciding he'll run for President shows just how petty he is when it comes to Superman. FFS, one of the things that drove him to do it was because a sandwich shop named two sandwiches after Superman while naming only one sandwich after Luthor!

Disgusted, but not surprisedSuperman existing manages to bring his pettiness up to 200% rather than the normal 95%
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. There was one comic that had Luthor bragging in his youth that he'd one day build the tallest skyscraper ever so he could stand over everybody else. It then has Lex standing on the top floor of said building fuming as he watches Superman flying overhead.
The comic with the sandwich thing also had Lex at a club and noticing an attractive woman only to be immediately put off when he realizes she has a Superman Shield tattoo. The entire comic basically has Lex getting increasingly pissed over little reminders that Superman exists, culminating in him running for President.

Disgusted, but not surprised“I spent millions of dollars on a fake presidential campaign just to tick Superman off.”
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Dr Ecks is called Dr Double X in the Comics and can create a copy of himself with powers. Dubbilex is an unrelated character.
That threw off The Question big time. The Question is a conspiracy buff who assumes everything is part of some big conspiracy and plan. It never occurred to him that someone would do all of that just to annoy someone they didn't like. No big secret complex plan or anything. Just simple pettiness.
Even better since Luthor's actual evil plan wasn't even really his own plan at all. He didn't even realize he was someone else's pawn all along. Though Luthor being Luthor, he found a way to turn that to his advantage.

Disgusted, but not surprisedThe irony is that Luthor actually was a decent president until his final days in office.

I was wrong btw: that sandwich shop name three sandwiches after Superman:
- The Kryptonian: Roast beef, salami, and pastrami
- Superman's Super-Duper Sandwich: The sub with EVERYTHING on it!
- Man of Steel (seasonal): Atlantic Salmon
As for the one sandwich named after Lex:
- The Lex: Liverwurst or Tongue, YOUR CHOICE!
And boy does Lex look pissed about it.

Disgusted, but not surprisedWonder how he'd take if they made a whole Superman themed franchise like Batman has.
Wake me up at your own risk.In that same comics storyline he fired a guy just because he had a Superman action figure in his cubicle. He also got pissed when a kid accidentally hit him with a frisbee and he noticed that the kid was wearing a Superman T-Shirt.
Disgusted, but not surprisedLex Luthor is so petty that one time, when nobody was looking, he stole forty cakes.
Improving as an author, one video at a time. That's as many as four tens!
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. That’s not actually as terrible as people would have you believe.
Oh God! Natural light!
Yeah, he likes to "mentally cast" characters from the Gargoyles or Young Justice tie-in comics. Though he stopped doing that since he saw it potentially hurtful to future casting if the characters made it to the show, like Kaldur's parents and Wyynde in season 3.
He's also done Grodd, Talia, and way more, but that's the only link I could find in the archives.
