It did seem like it was deforming a bit the next time we saw it.
I don't know. I know little about Slobo, but I know that Lobo himself has his detractors, and he's a bit of an acquired taste.
We'll see though. These guys put effort into making their versions of certain characters something worth watching.
One Strip! One Strip!I agree. This show's version of Cheshire is the only one I can stomach.
The lack of murdering probably helps.
One Strip! One Strip!Given that Vandal currently has Starro in his possession, does that open the door for him to start using Starro-tech mind control again? Or does he no longer need that, having other methods of mind control now?
She still does that. Assassin and all.
Yeah, but just a few.
I mean, Comics Jade destroyed an entire country.
As always, it's scale.
One Strip! One Strip! In general, this show's version of each character eschews their Silver/Bronze/Dark Age camp and ham, replacing it with a lot more pragmatism and realism. Even Brent Spiner's Joker isn't as gleefully-hammy as Hamill's, Di Maggio's, or Baker's.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Yeah, I doubt this version of Lobo ever rolled up an entire city and ate it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI mean, Comics Jade destroyed an entire country.
As always, it's scale.
The funny thing is, up until that moment Jade was depicted as being a villain with lines she wouldn't cross. She once refused a job to kill a black civil rights activist and went out of her way to avoid collateral damage. People were complaining about YJ "softening" Jade up but the show is actually in line with how Jade was before she nuked a country.
Speaking of Lobo's pinky, I recently found this parody Twitter page:
Location: on the ground, abandoned
Disgusted, but not surprisedPoor pinky.
x2 I’m not questioning how it was able to tweet (y’know, pinky and all); what I will question is where did it get a phone to send such tweets?
I wonder if the decision to make Artemis and Jade sisters was based on their comic counterparts having feline-based monikers. Interestingly enough, the Vietnamese Zodiac has both a tiger and a cat and the sisters are half-Vietnamese.

Is there any hope of a fourth season? I know this season is a hit but we haven't heard anything about a renewal.
If this season ends with the Light's conclusive defeat, I'll be satisfied.
Disgusted, but not surprisedIt certainly looks to be going that way. We finally have Vandal Savage's final motivation, so what happens if millennia of hard work are undone but he's left alive?
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. Then all will still be according to plan and it's revealed that Savage was REALLY working with Darkseid's father!!!
That was annoying in the last couple seasons.
Wake me up at your own risk. For those who are interested, Lowart has posted the last two videos of his season 1 retrospective.

It depends on how much they're really into DC Universe being a viable platform.
It could go on many more seasons depending on how much they depend on shows like Young Justice to get people to subscribe.
I'm inclined to think we'll get a full five seasons.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Apparently, they also aired episode 14 at Wondercon. I didn't resist and looked up spoilers. Some REALLY interesting stuff going on in it.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).
So I was rewatching that second credits scene with Lobo's pinky and suddenly remembered that one of Lobo's original powers in the comics was the ability to form a new Lobo from any detached part of his body, such as drops of blood.
Does this mean that Slobo is going to join the Outsiders?
