Turn 12

Rivux: (2) You try chasing after the goblin. Unfortunately, you feel your legs starting to cramp slightly, making it slightly more difficult for you to run. For some time, you manage to keep up with the youth, but after chasing the goblin down three corners, you lose sight of it.

Foxmccloud 4387: (1) Your dual soul tries to look for two bodies to accommodate it. Out of the vast array of beings, your intangible soul happens to find a goblin and a minotaur in close proximity to each other. Your dual soul tries to possess these two bodies. However, these two beings have strong wills, and thus your two-part soul is repelled from their minds. Trying to possess others will probably have dire consequences in the future, and it is very likely that these two now have a personal vendetta against you. They will hunt you down until you are dead and your soul is banished permanently from this world. Instead, both components of your spirit respawn as a single goblin, with only one head, in some distant lands. For the most part, you have the same equipment as before, but your sword is replaced with a dagger. Also you now have fairly realistic mask of a kobold.

You spawn in a vast desert with sparse plantlife. A single, leafless tree stands relatively close to you. Somewhere ahead of you, you see several cloaked figures walking along the top of a dune. Somewhere to your right, you see the silhouette of a large, triangular structure.

The Space Phantom: (5) You poke the strange circle with your finger. The markings immediately scatter into a million bits of glowing dust which start surrounding your body. Many of your wounds have now recovered and your flesh no longer seems to be charred. However, the symbol has now disappeared from your hand.
Trip: (1) After having banished the unicorn, you start heading your way towards Stormwald. But due to being distracted by the demonic beast, and due to your own absentminded nature, you kinda forgot where that place was. Seeing as a town would probably be somewhere on level ground, and you don’t see any sign of civilization in your immediate area, you start heading toward the forest. After a few minutes of traveling, you see what appears to be a mushroom person holding an axe and a wooden bucket. He screams, "It’s the witch! Everyone, everyone, it’s the witch!"
Lord Herobrine (4); Soulreaver (3): It’s just the name of the boss. You’ll learn what it does as the fight goes on. Your zombie can never turn off its fiery aura unless you try doing something about it. You use some form of improved mage hand to levitate some of the bones of the unarmored skeleton and hurl them into the Soulreaver. The monster blocks most of them with its inner talon limbs but a few get through and pierce into its tail. The Soulreaver continues to trudge forward, and it is now about two-thirds of the distance from the cave to your current position. It hasn’t come close enough to be affected by the aura.
Philosopher: (2) You ask the shaman to temporarily resurrect the tiger or provide something that will help. In response, the orc simply waves his finger at you and says, "Nope, nope, nope. Ya gots to do this on your own. And besides, ya can’t just temporarily bring something back to life. It’s got to be the full deal. Now, why don’t you be off on your way? I might have other people waiting."
NE Sgamer 190: (3) Acting quickly, you rush in to attack one of the archers, but it just moves away from you. You feel an arrow-like strike pierce through your left arm. From the angle and direction, you can tell that the attack came from a magic missile from the mage. Both of the skirmishers move in and start dancing clockwise around you while occasionally thrusting their javelins. Further out, you see the archers start circling around you in the opposite direction. The kobolds seem to be gurgling and hissing nonsense phrases as they shift around. After observing their movements, you see an oportunity and swing your hammer at one of the skirmishers. Once you start moving, it immediately shifts back, but it doesn’t react quickly enough, as you manage to dislodge its shield. The other skirmisher tries to go in for an attack as well, but you move yourself quickly enough to step just out of the range of the attack, and turn around to face the offender. You also see an arrow land off to the side of the skirmishing circle.
Makuta 9999 (2); Templar Reborn (6): With the templar right above you, you quickly prepare a fireball spell and launch it at him. However, the glowing knight simply blocks it with his shield, but the blast sends you gliding along the floor. In the middle of the room, the mages are both preparing spells. The spider on the ceiling continues on its path, traversing the parts that have not collapsed yet, and the other spider starts moving into a position to flank you from your left. The templar glides along the ice once more, raises its glowing white mace, and swings it down towards you. The blow buries itself deep into your chest and you feel nothing but searing pain coming from that area. When the knight raises it weapon, you see a big gaping hole where you were struck. However, the knight positioned himself directly between you and the mages, and he gets blasted by their force bolts. You see a many of the scales from his armor fall off behind him.
B Ra Hi An 1: (1) You try to intimidate your pursuers with your hideous abomination of an arm. Unfortunately, they don’t seem fazed in the slightest, as they keep on laughing at you. For some reason, the woman chasing you lowers her axe and stops some distance away from you. One of the lumps on your arm starts growing and begins sprouting eyes along with something else. Larger and larger it continues to swell. Oh dear god. After it has finished its transformation, it has formed into the head of a unicorn. Taking full control of your left arm, it swings down and starts biting the flesh off your legs. The floating unicorn head says, "Don’t you see child? No matter how many times you run or hide, you can never escape us. After all, you belong to us now.    KYAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Turn 13

The Space Phantom: (1) You sit down and try to remember what you were supposed to be doing. You think and think and think, but nothing seems to come to mind. Eventually, you fall asleep. When you wake up, you can tell from the position of the sun/moon that several hours have passed during your nap. Also, you seem to have lost your amulet, and you have no idea where it could have gone.

NE Sgamer 190: (4) Just as the second skirmisher retracts its thrust, you see your opportunity and make a mad dash past it before it can react. Out of the corner of your eye, you see it try to throw its javelin at you but it flies just behind you. You hear a few arrows pass by, but most of them miss and one of them glances off the side of your armor. You hear the mage speak, "Gets him! He musts become one of uss!" Hearing the kobolds behind you make their attacks, you press towards the mage undaunted. The mage prepares a spell and screams, "Praisse Cathari Ssarad!!!" A magic missile propels from his hands and starts flying toward you. Seeing just when the spell will come close, you swing your hammer into the bolt, absorbing all of the force with your weapon. After finishing your swing, you step right to the left of the mage, and reverse your swing into the mage’s back. You hear a loud crack as you send the mad kobold crashing into the ground. He struggles with his arms, but his legs remain motionless.
Trip: (4) You try convincing the mushroom person in front of you that you are a good-aligned witch/wizard. You also mention that the fire you set earlier was an accident and apologize. Several more mushroom people gather around. One of the incoming mushroom men says, "So is this the witch?"

The one you spoke to says, "Yes, but she says lighting the tree on fire was an accident. And now that I’ve spoken to her, she doesn’t seem that bad. Now that I think of it, if she was a witch I’d be dead already."

Another one says, "How do you know it’s a she? He looks like one of those pretty-boy humans."

A fourth says, "She looks more like one of those flunky mages, especially with that outfit. If she was a witch, she’d be wearing some funny outfit."

The first one says, "How would you know that? If you met a witch you’d be dead or a zombie."

Another mushroom person says, "So why do we hunt for witches when we know they’ll kill us if we meet them?"

"Shut up will ya!"

Philosopher: (3) Seeing as the shaman won’t directly help you on your quest, you exit the hut and then leave the city, heading off in the suggested direction. You spend hours upon hours traversing the savanna until you start to meet hilly terrain. In the distance ahead, you see the silhouettes of mountains. The area starts to give way to a thin forest. Eventually, you can see the mountain just ahead clearly. When you step atop one of the hills, you see a large cluster of stone structures gathered along the side of a river. At the center, you see a large, ten-part pyramid structure. There also appear to be several trees growing into some of the smaller buildings.
Rivux: (Free) When you check your pockets, you find that some of your coins are missing, specifically those that you stole from the dwarf. As you managed to store your inventory into different pockets, the goblin wasn’t able to steal everything. This information is reflected in the stats chart.
Lord Herobrine (4); Soulreaver (5): You get the feeling that trying to hug this thing is a bad idea. On your command, your zombie charges toward the Soulreaver with its spear. As the monster is still trying to move forward with its hulking limbs and tail, your zombie successfully plunges its weapon into the creature’s body and then pulls it out. Also, the Soulreaver starts catching on fire. While your zombie remains close to the monster, its tail reaches around and grabs your zombie from the left. In one swift motion, the tail swings around to the other side of the Soulreaver like a whip and sends your zombie flying. It takes a few seconds before you hear your zombie land far away. You get the sense that your minion is still functioning, but had you been thrown like that, you probably would have died upon landing. It will be some time before your zombie will be able to engage the Soulreaver once again. The Soulreaver is now facing you, and nothing stands in its way. It speaks,    "I must feed…"
Foxmccloud 4387: (1) You start to head your way over to the large triangular structure. But after walking for about a minute, you lose your footing and fall into a hole. Luckily, there aren’t any spikes in it, but this time the hole is much larger than you. You hear footsteps on the sands above.
Makuta 9999 (5); Templar Reborn (3): Just as the templar looks around due to the blast, you prepare your own force bolt and then fire it into his gut. The knight staggers back, stopping himself with his mace just before colliding with the central column. He groans and many scales start sliding off the front of his armor. The spider closest to you reaches your hand and starts biting on it, but you quickly shake it off. The two mages blast you with lightning balls. One of the attacks goes through the hole in your chest while the other strikes part of your left thigh, causing the area around it to scatter into hundreds of spiders.
B Ra Hi An 1: (5) As your abomination of an arm consumes your legs, you reach for your dagger and stab at the base of you arm. Stab. Stab. Stab. The pain shoots through your body with each blow, and your left arm feels like its drowning in acid. Then, your dagger cuts all the way through your arm and the unicorn abomination infesting your arm falls off with it. It lets out a wraith-like shriek and starts blistering into a blob of deformed flesh and eyes. You back away from it and the unicorn head and the woman move next to it. Both of them start tearing away at the poor thing and start eating every little bit they can tear off. The blood pouring out of the deformed abomination gets all over their mouths and drips on the woman’s clothing.

Turn 14

Rivux: (4) You keep moving on, going underneath the wall structure. Past that, you see a large quantity of smoke spewing into the sky. As you move forward, the houses start to look slightly more decayed. This area is heavily populated with dwarves and goblins, with few kobolds to be seen. For a brief moment, you see a goblin and a minotaur walk past you while carrying a large amount of baggage. The goblin seems to be holding a map in front of him as he walks. You see a few kobold guards carrying along a goblin walk past you, but it doesn’t seem to be the one from before. Beyond, you start to hear the sound of clanging metal. Within this district, there seems to be a central roadway extending away from the city filled to the brim with carts moving back and forth. Should you continue moving counterclockwise amongst the outer districts, you find more of the same types of buildings from before.

NE Sgamer 190: (1) The Great Witch Cathari is displeased at your ignorance. Nevertheless, because of your foolish ignorance, you ask the mage about the Great Cathari Sarad. During this, you feel two javelins pierce through from behind, and two arrows go through your shoulder as you foolishly stand still next to the mage. By this point, the mage turns over to face you, and all the cute little kobolds start laughing at you.    NYAHAHAHAHA!!!
B Ra Hi An 1: (5) As the unicorn and its lackey eat the deformed abomination, you make a run for it. When you happen to look back, they don’t seem to notice your exit. After an hour or so trying to get away from the unicorn, you eventually come to the edge of the forest. Ahead, you see a small village surrounded by a wooden palisade. There also seems to be a small stream flowing nearby.
Lord Herobrine (5); Soulreaver (6): You start spewing a small cloud of darkness. It doesn’t seem to do much. The giant monster probably doesn’t need to rely on sight to figure out where you are. As you are a necromancer as opposed to a battlemage, your skills with destruction magic are somewhat limited. However, you still conjure a basic force bolt/magic missile and launch it at the Soulreaver. It tries blocking it with one of its outer limbs, but the spell pierces a small hole through the monster’s left talon-limb and then hits right at the base of one of the inner talon-limbs, causing it to fall off. Although you have caused some damage, the beast shows no signs of bleeding. Then, Soulreaver raises its head up and lets out a hellish roar. From within the stomach of the beast, you hear what seems to be a child screaming as if being burnt alive. Bluish flames spark all over the beast’s body, with a large one coming from its back. Bits and pieces of the monster’s scales fall off. It holds its giant limbs out in front, leans forward, and, without aid from said limbs, rockets toward you like a charging boar. The blow slams you into the ground and causes you to tumble for a few feet. Your head hurts like fuck and you’re pretty sure several of your ribs are broken, along with a few other bones. Your vision also seems a little blurry, though you can see blood showing up in several places on your garments, especially your chest area. Additionally, you start coughing up blood. The Soulreaver looms just before you with its limbs outstretched. Your zombie probably won’t return in time to save you.
Trip: (3) You ask the mushroom people if they heard any rumors. The first one says, "Well, there’s the whole rebellion going on. They haven’t managed to reach this place yet, but I think we’ll get a warning if they do try coming over here."

The fourth one says, "Nah, it’ll take them a while to get up here. We’re kinda way up north, and I think the rebels are trying to take the capital."

The third one says, "Wait, where did you come from? Did you come from Stormwald? If so, did you happen to see one of our brothers? He went missing a while ago when he said he wanted to explore that place."

"Don’t mention that place. We don’t know what’s lurking in there."

The first one says, "Probably infested with undead or something."

"Nah, we’d know if it was. You’d best not get caught up in that business. Anyway, wanna come with us to the village?"

Foxmccloud 4387: (1) You try climbing along the side of the hole. About halfway up, you just fall back in. The floor just underneath you collapses as well and you find yourself falling into a large cave-like area. Aside from a few arbitrarily placed glowing orbs of light, you can’t see anything. When you land, you feel a large spike pierce through and slice off the lower part of your right leg. You start sliding and rolling down until you reach solid footing. The light from the surface remains far and distant, and you have no hope of returning by climbing. The light sources seem to rest just on the ground, varying with elevation. These seem to extend for miles and miles. Right next to you, you see the base of a large stalagmite. Aside from the near total darkness, you hear dripping every so often.
Makuta 9999 (5,6); Templar Reborn (1,Null): A crazy idea flows through your head. With your quarterstaff, you raise your left and and improvise a spell, sweeping your implement between the two mages. As you chant in some eldritch tongue, your staff and hands glow octarine, and the second set of writing on the central column manifests itself once more. One of the mages says, "Since… since when does it do that?" The letters start rotating around, and the column shoots a beacon of octarine light straight into the sky. Both your staff and the column itself shoots intense beams of this hue into the two mages. After the blast subsides, both of their bodies have transformed into swarms of spiders, and they both scream in horror.

In the meantime, the knight takes his opportunity to make another swing at you, but while winding up his mace, he accidentally hits the column behind him, which instantly throws his mace across the room and launches him across the floor into one of the wooden pillars. While he tries recovering and tumbling for his weapon, you take this opportunity and launch a force bolt into his back. Your shot goes flying, and punctures a massive hole right where some of the scales have fallen off. Lightning starts crawling all over the templar’s body. He screams as his body starts turning white and starts bloating. A wall of holy light nearly fills the room and incinerates you up to your torso. When the light subsides, you only see the two transformed mages and a pile of armor where the templar once stood. Templar Reborn has fallen. The central column shoots an octarine beam and you feel yourself growing with power. You have learned Baleful Polymorph: Spiderswarm. One of the transformed mages says, "What have you become? Why have you returned to this place?"

Another voice cuts in, "I’m afraid you are mistaken. The man lying before you isn’t the one you seek. Do you really think your former king would have taken this long to incapacitate you. I would have done it in seconds, even with your pesky little powers." Time for some theme music! On top of the column, you see a figure wearing gold plate armor and a white cloak appear from the beacon. His helmet, also covered in gold, forms a face that somewhat resembles the figure on the wall. You can see a few spiders crawling on the man’s armor. "It is useless! It is foolish to think you have any chance of opposing the man who will become God! I have already transcended the limits of mortality itself! So unless you weaklings accept my godhood, I’d recommend running back to your friends before you start wasting my time."

One of the mage-swarms says, "Th-the golden king! You’re…"

"Silence!" The golden man turns toward you and floats down to the floor, "I never expected that someone else would be able to uncover the octarine inscription. The hue lies beyond the normal spectrum. And you have discovered some of the pillar’s other functions. But it would be improper not to introduce myself. I am Yassari II, former king of this land, the golden prophet and lord of Trasti, the man who will ascend to godhood. I raised this temple with my own command. You have attained the key to immortality just as I have. I can help you master the powers within, for I have lived for over a thousand years. You must become my disciple and aid me in my quest for godhood. Will you accept or shall I simply leave you for the hundreds of knights coming this way?"
