I thank the orc and with my fabulous tiger clothing in tow make my way towards the village with the Shaman.

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.

Alright, baby, gimme a 20 on Bluff!

I explain to the Dwarf that I noticed a sneaky little goblin swipe that sack from right off his back and tailed him down. I also apologize and say that I wasn't able to retrieve the sack with everything intact in time. When I finally caught up to the elusive little devil, he escaped with the seal on the scroll already opened.

To say the least, a loss of leg's not good, especially since there's probably at least a good hundred to one.

Free Action: Call a surrender. Injured as I am, and usually as ruthless and tactical I would be, it's kinda out of my league.

Action: Inquire about what the heck happened in this world, at least in the kobold's perspective.

On another note, lets have the ice freeze the Templar's legs to the floor. I know it won't hold him for long, but it should hold him long enough.

Turn 10

'''B Ra Hi An 1: (1) You try running from your crazed companion, but you only take a few steps before you trip over yourself and accidentally land on your dagger. You try crawling away, but the woman closes in on you and cleaves your left arm off from the elbow down. A searing, burning pain penetrates into your right hand around the symbol, which begins manifesting in the shape of a unicorn’s head. Deep cuts start forming at the octarine markings and blood starts flowing across your hand. The pain from your forehead grows ever greater. The unicorn head speaks to you, "What’s wrong? Do you need a little hand there?"

Philosopher: (5) Following the villagers’ instructions, you leave the village and start heading off on a pathway that extends into the savanna. It takes you a long time, but you eventually come upon a somewhat large, partially-walled settlement sitting a bit higher than the rest of the ground. Several wooden statues of gazelles sit at various locations along the top of the wall. From what you can see, there is only one entrance into the town connected to the surrounding landscape via a single earthen bridge bordered by wooden fences. Everywhere else, the ground slopes down so a series of wooden spikes near the base of the settlement. You enter the town and find that most of the houses here are made of brick. Like before, many of the civilians stare at you as you make your way through. You also see a few orcs riding on top of elephants. You see a greenish smoke coming from one end of the town, so you start heading over there. Here, you find one of the few buildings made of wood and hide. Additionally, said building has several skulls mounted on wooden spikes surrounding it. Seeing as this is most likely the shaman’s house, you enter it.

Inside, you see a fairly thin orc working over some mixture brewing in a cauldron. There’s also a full orc skeleton spread out along the wall opposite you, along with skeletons of various other creatures. You also see numerous wooden masks along with wooden engravings of local deities, many of which have elephant heads. The shaman speaks, "Ah, what can I do ya for? It’s not everyday we see a human come to these lands. What do they call those places these days?" You ask the shaman if he is capable of resurrecting your tiger. "Ah, interesting ye should ask. Something like that isn’t beyond my abilities, but I’m not gonna lend it to ya that easily. You get me something I want, I’ll give you something you want, sound fair? In the Northwest, should you follow the beacon of Quasalrok, you’ll find a city that has been long since abandoned. In the center, you’ll find a large temple. In that temple, there is a certain ivory talisman I would like you to retrieve for me. You might find other stuff there that you can keep, but I just want the talisman. I don’t think you’ll be able to make much use of it yourself."

Rivux: (4) You fabricate a story that some goblin stole the sack and that you have retrieved it for him. The dwarf responds, "Damn, should have been more careful then. Could have sworn I didn’t see any of them around. Course it would be goblins, those sneaky little green bastards steal everything. Punks like them should know their place. Well, you’ve done me a good service, but I’ve got business to attend to." The dwarf starts heading off back on the main road.
The Space Phantom: (1) With your new magical item, you grab your lance and mount your bike. You start pedaling at full speed towards the unicorn with your lance forward. It takes a few seconds to reach it, but you manage to spear to weapon through the damn beast. That’s odd, the resistance from that blow felt heavier than it should have. You hear a few screams from behind you. After a brief examination, you find that you had accidentally attacked the oxen. You could have sworn it wasn’t there a few seconds ago. It turns and guts you with one of its horns while on fire. When you fall to the ground, the unicorn addresses you from near the cart, "Why did you have to hurt the poor, innocent beast? It didn’t do anything to harm you. Can’t you tell the difference between unicorns and oxen? Just because we both have four legs doesn’t mean you can just go ahead and assume we’re all the same, racist."
Foxmccloud 4387: (2) Ignoring the request to lay down your weapons, you move away from the kobold on the round and head for the squadron near the tower to your left to smash them with your sword. However, you don’t get very far as two arrows go through your legs, causing you to stumble over. Additionally, four more arrows strike at various places on your body. The only reasons you haven’t died from this many arrows are that they haven’t struck vital regions and your status as a giant allows you to absorb more blows. From what you can see, there are roughly six kobolds on each end of the wall. Two of each set are carrying heavy, spiked shields while the rest are archers aiming their bows right at you. Still more kobolds are coming out of the two towers.
Lord Herobrine: (6) The girl says, "I sense that my sister is in that cave somewhere. I…" From far up ahead, you hear a hiss-like sound and two large, glowing red eyes peering from the cave. Some giant, monstrous, thing slithers into plain view. It looks something like this. The girl simply points at the monstrous thing and shouts, "She’s… she’s in that thing!" After saying this, she disappears. The monster lets out a shriek and starts moving for your position, using it giant, talon-like limbs to help propel it forward. Soulreaver has appeared.
NE Sgamer 190: (Free, 5) You drop your hammer and declare your surrender. The kobold says, "Very well then." The legion near the fortress comes over, picks up your weapon and starts carrying you into the fortress. You also notice that they bring along the kobold who was taking a whizz, the spearman’s arm, and the decapitated archer. You see one kobold dressed in mage robes come to the unconscious but fully intact kobold and cast some sort of spell, channeling a white stream to it. Shortly after, you see said kobold start waking up. One of the spearmen comes towards you, pulls out your leg, and holds it right to your bloodied stump. The mage then approaches you and channels the same stream to you. Almost immediately, you start to feel the pain from your wounds disappear. By the time you reach the fortress entrance, you can feel your right leg once again.

From the inside, you see many stairways and ladders leading up to the walls. Over on one side of the fortress, you see what appears to be a shooting range. On another side you see a few horses parked along with carts. Another side of the fort has a large rectangular structure built right into the wall. The kobolds carry you through a large wooden doorway leading into a building in the center of the compound. They begin to go down a large, spiral staircase with lanterns hanging to the sides. At the bottom, the path splits into two different hallways, one of which leads to a corridor full of barrels. The kobolds lead you down the opposite hallway. In one room, they place you on a table and remove your armor along with your possessions. One says, "We’ll be taking these things for now." After this, they take you farther down the hallway and then lock you in a cell. "You will remain in here until we decide what to do with you. Should you attempt to escape, you shall be executed summarily." Most of the kobolds go off to some other location, though one remains behind to look over the cell. After a few minutes pass, you ask the jailer about the state of the world.

He responds, "You must not be from these parts, or anywhere I can think of. I’ve got nothing better to do than to sit here and watch you piss into the bucket so I guess I’ll tell you a thing or two. Might as well start with this region since you’re here and you’re, well, a dwarf. Used to be dwarf kings in this mountain range a long time ago. Might be that goblins still had their own cities in those days as well. Don’t know what happened, but something caused a whole bunch of the dwarven sites to collapse. ’Bout a century or so ago we integrated what was left of them into our own society. When we found the other forts, they were nothing but undead-infested hellholes. One of them isn’t too far off from here.

"Don’t know if you know this already, but you’re within the imperial domain of Harkad. The empire covers most of the northern half of the continent, but that’s if you don’t include the witchlands. It’s a large wasteland to the north extending for Lasca knows how long. Keep following the mountains and eventually you’ll walk right into them. Don’t know for sure but I heard its filled with demons and undead, and you never see the light of the sun. Thing is, we’re being invaded by the witchlands as we speak. I don’t know much, but I hear the war isn’t going well. I don’t know the whole situation, but I’ve heard the army of the witchlands has a dragon of its own. Still, I’m not sure why we haven’t seen the enemy try attacking in these parts. After all, this here is one of the perimeter forts in case we get an invasion on this side.

"On top of that, we’re seeing a large rebellion from the Nivani peninsula to the southeast. A human man known as Marduk the warmage leads it. I don’t know who he is but he’s been slaughtering our troops and killing every kobold he can find. He’s already taken most of the peninsula, but I hear he’s still continuing his rampage. I’d say he’s probably after the imperial throne himself, and a man of his strength might have the power to take on the emperor himself."

Trip: (2) You try to recall a spell that will help you fight the unicorn. Unfortunately, you can’t seem to think of any spells that will help you. Partly this is due to your spells’ tendency to blow up in your face. The unicorn says, "Oh, what’s this? Forgotten all our spells have we? You should just go back to mage school right where you belong. Well, what are you waiting for? Why don't you just try and attack me? I’m waiting…"
Makuta 9999 (1); Templar Reborn (2): After sliding your foot from underneath the rubble, you prepare your next frost spell to immobilize the Templar. Unfortunately, you’re still not quite used to the multiple visual inputs coming from your spiders, so you accidentally aim for your legs and immobilize yourself. The templar charges for you and tries to swing at you with its mace, but it misses due to miscalculating the effects of the ice on its mobility. Two more blasts come from the opposite hallway, and you hear someone say, "Alright, we’re almost through!"

Action: Offer to help out on some of the problems this fortress had. I might not have any issues with the kobolds, despite their distrust of me, but perhaps winning their trust is what I should do for now.

Turn 11

The Space Phantom: (3) Dislodging yourself from the horn, you start pedaling as fast as you can away from the area. Travelling northwest within the hilly terrain, you eventually feel as though you have lost the unicorn, but you fear that you have not seen the last of them. Unfortunately, you do not have much dignity left. You can’t even take on a single unicorn! You also notice that there’s some sort of circle glowing some strange hue on your right hand.

Rivux: (6) Finished with your business with the dwarf, you start wandering your way around the city, starting by moving counter-clockwise through the outer districts. Most of these areas are cluttered with brick and stone houses, shops, inns, public bath houses, along with other facilities that would be expected to sustain these places. You see mostly kobolds going about their daily business. You overhear a few of them gossiping amongst themselves. Some of the things you overhear include: border conflicts, some strange human wandering into the city, local prices, children, rumors about neighbors, planning for some Harkadi festival, some guy rambling about the end of the world, random kobolds fawning over kobolds of the opposite gender, a play that was recently shown, someone bragging/telling stories about traveling to some place called the witchlands, and many other things. From you perspective, most of the buildings in these parts don’t seem particularly noteworthy. The first notable building you come across seems to look more like a miniature fortress than anything else. Several kobolds seem to be guarding this place, and you also see a squad of guards carrying another hapless kobold into the building. Further along, you come across the large wall-like structure you saw from the hill. It houses several archways for going into the other districts of the city. You also hear the sound of flowing water coming from the structure. As you start to go underneath it, you feel something jump hard onto your horse-end back, and you feel something reach into one of your pockets. A second later, you see a goblin youth running off in some direction.
NE Sgamer 190: (6) You tell the jailer that you wish to offer your services to the kobold army. He responds, "I’m not the one who decides what happens to you. I’d expect that the garrison command would consider that option. You’d probably be sent to wherever the Empire needs more manpower for building fortifications or infrastructure. Enlisting you into the army would also be an option, though you’d probably be sent into a dwarven platoon. Don’t expect anything much though." Several more minutes pass by as you wait to hear an answer.

Then several kobold guards approach your cell and say, "Alright, we’re letting you out, but from now on you’re under Imperial command. You betray us, try to escape, or refuse orders, then off goes your little head." They open the cell and escort you out. Several of the kobolds move to gather your equipment and start placing it on you. "We’re sending you on a mission. Command wants you to go deep into the witchlands and report any activity you can find. Large scale construction, troop movements, high levels of magic, anything of that sort. Demons are supposed to be common there, but most are relatively isolated and aren’t interested in invading. You survive out there and get the information to us, you may have our trust. If you die, well, you’re no longer our problem." By this point the escort has led you out of the underground portion of the fortress and they start leading you towards one of the gate towers. "We’ve got a forward observation tower right near the edge of the witchlands. We’re sending you through a portal so you don’t spend a few hours walking there and back. Our scouts stationed there will have further information on the situation, so you’ll have to cooperate with them." A mage steps forward and chants some spell, causing a portal to appear at the base of the tower. The kobolds strap your warhammer onto your back and then step back as you enter the portal.

Once on the other side, you see large fire right in front of you and a tower looming some distance ahead. You immediately notice that most of the sky is covered in some sort of perpetual twilight. The portal closes behind you and you see a kobold mage standing on a rock behind you. Four more kobolds approach you: two javelin skirmishers with small shields, and two archers. Their posture hunches a bit more from what you’ve seen from everyone else, and they keep themselves unusually close to the ground as they move. All of them are staring at you with abnormally large pupils and generous grins. One of the archers says, "What sshould we do with him?"

A skirmisher says, "They has ssent us a gift."

The other skirmisher says, "Ze mistress willss be pleassed."

The mage says, "He look so deliciouss."

The second archer says, "But his ssoul iss a sstrong."

"It doess not matter, we’ll tearss it out of him! Kihihihihihihi!!!"

"He musst becomess one of uss!" At this point, all the kobolds start giggling uncontrollably and start stepping slowly towards you.

Foxmccloud 4387: (6) Seeing as you have no options left but to try to take as many kobolds as you can, you raise your sword up high and charge for one of the kobold flanks shouting "LEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY JEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINS!!!!" as you do so. You feel four arrows strike you from behind but that doesn’t stop your charge. You impale yourself on both of the kobold shield-bearers’ spikes, knocking them over. You raise your sword up high, and strike your blade into the neck of one of the fallen kobolds, then prepare another swipe for the other one. For a moment, you look forward with both of your heads. The last things your eyes see are four kobolds with their bows aimed directly at both your foreheads.    You died.    Respawn? (You might want to change class or race this time around.)
Trip: (5) You turn to pick up a stick lying on the ground and then throw it at the unicorn. It hits, but the unicorn simply laughs at your feeble attempt to distract it. You then pull out your spellbook and try searching for something that will help you fight this thing. Although you don’t find anything that explicitly tells you how to deal with unicorns, you find some sort of spell for banishing demons, marked by a devil’s trap circle. Seeing the amount of lulz emotional pain this creature inflicted upon you, this being seems demonic enough. You firmly close the book, aim your right palm at the unicorn and chant your ritual. Midway through your incantation, the unicorns simply says, "Aww… But I wanted to have some more fun with you." At the end, you fire what appears to be a greyish blast of wind out of your palm. Once the mist subsides, you no longer see the unicorn nearby. However, you do not know how long it will be before it decides to torment you once again.
Makuta 9999 (1); Templar Reborn (3): You try firing a frost spell towards the collapsed entryway. Shit, that was a fireball spell you just shot out. It causes the rubble to burst open almost completely. Two of the spiders from before and two mages emerge from behind the rubble and storm into the room. One of the spiders seems to be trying to crawl up to the ceiling to sneak to the entryway close by you. Meanwhile, as you think of casting a frost spell against the templar, it glides towards you and slams its glowing mace into your right hand. You immediately feel a piercing pain and a good chunk of your hand disintegrates into white sparks instead of forming into spiders. The attack also crushes some the ice around you and shatters the ice constraining you.
Lord Herobrine (3); Soulreaver (4): Random Boss Music Time! You cast a spell to summon black binding chains to restrain the Soulreaver. Although they manage to bind themselves to the beast, the Soulreaver shatters them almost immediately as it continues crawling/slithering forward. Unless you have your zombie throw its spear or small rocks from the ground, your zombie doesn’t have any ranged attacks. Instead, the zombie circles around you until it stands in front of you, somewhere between the two skeletons on the ground. It faces the monster with its spear at the ready. The Soulreaver simply trudges on undaunted, and it has now closed about a third of the distance between you and the cave.
B Ra Hi An 1: (6) While trying to keep your distance from your demented pursuers, you cast a healing spell to repair your arm. Your arm grows back completely. Wait, why does your arm have eyes growing out of it? There are other strange bumps as well. They seem to be moving on their own volition, and you feel them crawling underneath your skin. Even discounting these things, something about your arm makes you feel sick whenever you look at it.
