I'm thinking that since Nanashi and Asahi are not in vanilla SMT IV, if they did exist they likely got butchered by Angels since Peacock freak also is not in vanilla SMT IV and Kinshicho is very close to the Sky Tower. Either that, or Manabu and Nikkari simply chose to stop bringing them outside the Underground District on account of the increased number of demons present in Tokyo.

Reincarnation is a big deal, and they implied Kiyoharu and Kenji are past lives of Jonathan and Walter(they even have the same Japanese VA's) so someone as influential as Akira, who is even noted in the artbook to be destined to create Mikado in every timeline, says he should be important enough to reincarnate too.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.IV Part 24: Anarchy Doesn't Pay the Bills
A last major challenge quest sweep before things hit the fan, including one where Flynn ends up making things harder for himself in the sequel, and two particularly tough bonus bosses over in the New Game Plus universe. (Ha! Finally managed to defeat that stupid display error that inserts slashes everywhere!)

My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsWOW, Astaroth too? Had no idea he was even beatable at all at mid-game.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."It took me a bunch of tries. Key was using three demons who reflected Ice (Sarasvati, Plasma, and Hel in my case) plus a lotta RNG luck.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsSince now is the perfect time to play a game about lockdown, I'm back to playing Overclocked. I kinda dropped it after trying to get both "no free battles" and "no leaders deaths" in one go got tedious, but in the end it wasn't that hard. It was my "do everything wrong" run, got locked on Yuzu's ending only (I had no idea you can avoid fighting Belial), but screwed up rebuilding the barrier. Damn my instinct to talk with characters before looking up other events. Oh well, I guess I will just pick it up again if I will mess up getting an ending I aim for or just leave it for last.
I'm planning to get Naoya's next (the last ending I haven't seen in between this and original versions), do I need to get it twice for all titles?
Also, I started appreciating Naoya more. He is still a prick, but I kinda like how chill he is even if I didn't pick his route.
There are two versions of Naoya's Eighth Day, so you'll have to go through his route twice for all titles.
IVA made me sympathize more with the Chaos side honestly, because it's clear they're victims of YHVH by being programmed to act the way they do while honesty believing these are their truest thoughts. Only Adrammelech doesn't and just revels in being aweful.
And now with the context of the Drafts, everything bad can be directly traced back to Gabby, thus her comment in IV Lilith looking like her and her actions was to mock Gabby(because Gabriel intentionally helped make things go bad on purpose in Tokyo in the past).
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm not a fan of "Lucifer is the true hero of the story" so I was fine with him being a stupid pawn in YHVH's game.
I don't think anyone thought that in IV.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Speaking of Apocalypse, I only just recently completed the Compendium due to not playing the game for a while. Turns out I was missing one demon: Metatron, of all demons.
How the heck I missed Metatron, I have no clue. Still, feels good to have completed it.
I also have to get to finishing the rest of the endings in Strange Journey. Still need to do Chaos Plus and the two Neutral endings.
It's a sobering thought to realize that in IV the closest thing to a hero on the Monotheist faction is fuckin Mastema
Heart of StoneThe worse part is that they completely removed him from IVA, and there's no way that wasn't intentional. So now all we have are a bunch of Mass Produced Mastema's in YHVH's Universe.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.IV Mastema may be a different Mastema than SJ though.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yes we know. Mastema in SJ is an alien angel from a different planet according to an interview with Ishida.
They even reference how invaders can always come to assault the paradise Zelenin made in New Law one in reference to that.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ishida(The Director for Strange Journey and Deep/Redux) mentioned in a interview Mastema is likely an alien.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Wasn't it suggested that the Mastema in IV was a demon summoned by Akira (like Minotaur), or was that fanon?
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Apparently it was from the untranslated parts of the IVA artbook but the 4chan vg archives are no more so I can't look back for those who got it.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. All of the not-fairy factions in Apocalypse are various flavours of insufferable. Law and the Divine Powers are condescending assholes and Team Chaos are regular assholes.
Heart of StoneGo Team Chaos! At least we admit we are terrible people and don't make things personal.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Rodimus touched on this briefly the other night, but DDS also somehow managed to make cannibalism an essential gameplay element without either feeling overly edgelordy or making the main characters unlikable.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Arioch from Drakengard needs some of that.
Watch SymphogearIt's not directly shown in cutscene or anything so that helps get away with the potential squickitude. They turn into horrible monsters and feast on fallen enemies, and it's a gameplay feature you have to keep up with.
More important than that, though, is that it's the central story feature of the game that the characters all grapple with in some fashion along with their burgeoning emotions. It informs the newfound brutality of their world instead of just being a tick the box edgelord thing.
On the other hand, Tokyo has the sun and like hundreds of people aren't eaten by Shesha.
Just saying, maybe move the People of Tokyo to Mikado since it has fresh water and resources instead of a polluted wasteland.
