Yet more people Luxanna had not yet met were appearing, perhaps this was the full extent of the challengers. Their group was far larger than any Lux had to operate with before.
She turned back to the Doctor, suddenly aware of the lack of decorum displayed by casually leaning on someone you have not yet met. The had regained her balance by now, so stood upright and curtsied. "I'm Luxanna Crownguard, I think I intercepted a bolt of lightning for you."
The inevitable questions had started to fly, and Lux eagerly looked to their hosts for the answers. They didn't seem too keen on personally knowing them, it seemed the Challengers here were just one large group to be handled. A man with a very strange face had just walked in, and it seemed as if he was taking command of their squad.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?

Yuuka took a look at the man. He didn't seem like....a normal human, to say the least.

Bright coughs. "Exactly. If you're lucky you'll get a promotion and have other people babysit them for you while you write the results of experiments."

Yuuka watched in rather uncharacteristic attention their surroundings.
Hahli smiled slightly to herself as she realized what this place was like. "It's like if the Makuta took over the Archives..." she muttered to herself. Whatever had to be here, of course, had to be a bit more dangerous than the beasts stored there.

"..." Natsu sniffed the air and instantly grew serious. "This place... it reeks of death..." He flared up slightly, the hair on his head igniting briefly into fire before dying down. "What exactly are we going to have to guard..." He asked the strange man.

From the sounds of it, Lux had just gotten herself admitted to become a guard for a repository of hidden, arcane knowledge. Creatures and objects that must be hidden from the outside world! A fascinating learning experience! If she paid close attention she may come out of this with a new spell or two...
On the other hand, there was much being said about how dangerous a job it was. But there were many of them here, each with unique abilities, surely they could handle quite a bit of hassle?

A portal had opened up nearby, and challengers were hurrying into it. A good enough indication that operations were normal around here, Lux assumed. It WAS a nice way to escape this fight.
She attempted to get back to her feet, failed the first time, but succeeded the second. She stumbled into a slow run through the portal, coming out on the other side and catching herself by leaning on the Doctor. "Ah, hi! Glad to see I hit my mark!"
