Doesn't Extasy only include some adult content? Not like anyone really needs to see that with Key's art.

Is it just me or is KVA works in general not getting much love?

It's just you. A lot of people around here have described Clannad as either their favorite or one of their favorite V Ns. The thing is that most of us have already read the translated Key stuff and it doesn't raise a lot of questions to answer like FSN or whatever does.

I mean, is there any actually numbers backing up your statements, like how well they sold and such? I can't find that number.

I really hope it's just me.

How well they sold? Well, yeah, there probably is. Key is one of the most popular VN companies out there. I assumed you meant how we never seemed to use this thread.

Hmm, maybe. Oh, and one thing that really got me hooked to this company in general is their lovably snarky characters. When I first tried Clannad, I was just expecting another Moe show with some fanservice, crude and slapstick humor, and with an idiotic main lead.

Then I was treated with alluringly melancholic Deadpan Snarker who can pull some genuinely hilarious jokes and pranks. Seriously, I love that guy.

To be honest, I like Tomoya much more than Kyon. There's hardly any affection in the latter's snark. I wonder what would happen if two met...

Someone new picked up the Tomoyo After project. The project had already restarted, I think, but maybe with this it will move faster.

Say, is there anywhere to buy the English version? I'm actually a Korean, but I always liked reading stuff in two languages.

None of these games had an official English release.

Little Busters 5.1 patch out with all routes released. I believe this leaves only the epilogue or something.

I'm going to start playing it now.

Hmm, I might wait for the whole thing.

It feels a lot different than Kanon or Clannad so far. Heroines look interesting enough are all insane. Art is a step up from Clannad. And I like the music more, I think.

Art style for Clannad is pretty subjective since it's relatively old. I never had a problem with it but I can see how some people don't like it.

I think you're the first person I've seen actually defend it.

It's not that I think it's particularly good, it's just that I don't mind it, compared to like say, Umineko.

I like the KEY faces but I can see how people dislike them.

I don't like or dislike them. I just think the art is bad. The actual thing I notice before the faces are the weird shoulders.

And I will make one comment about Little Busters: I feel like every instinct and prior opinion I had about anime and VN character types should make me hate Kud, but I can't. She really is adorable.

Well Kurugaya sure is honest in her intentions to rape Kud if the two become roommates... And here I was thinking that she was the perfect candidate.

Edit: So I just hit my first end of a path Well now that was more than a little disappointing... feels like a bad end, probably cause I didn't win the baseball game, scored fifth on the battle rankings and went with Rin who I guess is the person the grand finale is supposed to be about

Oh man, Haruka's route is shaping up to have a real train wreck coming up soon. And this is already past the first reveal so compared to that... Ouch. I can guess what the next reveal will be but I'm honestly slightly confused with trying to sort out the details of it. And yes, I am being purposely vague even in spoilers.
