But their faces are always so very chiseled.
Araki once drew Naruto, & well he used his modern face design for the hyperactive knucklehead ninja.
Chiseled does not even begin to describe his face.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."x4: come to think of it, it's right there in the opening.
... And that's called jazz!"For no reason"?!
Ignoring the fact that he attacked them with the intent to kill them if Bruno didn't do what he wanted, Bruno gave him a chance to surrender peacefully at the end and he still tried to stab Abbacchio even when it was clear he had no way of getting out of that situation without getting harmed.
Yup, the dance was a darkly funny scene in the manga, but the anime made it a piece of art.
That dancing while torturing someone made me think of Reservoir Dogs.
Edit: Also torturing that guy is for no reason, as it serves no purpose (other than making for a very cool scene). Thinking that opponents should be punished for losing a confrontation is really a matter of opinion. Or that you should torture anyone who has attempted to harm you, for that matter.

Let's also apreciate how perfectly in sync those three are during the dance. Which either means that they're used to dancing together⦠or that they're used to dancing to this tune while torturing people.
By the way, for those wondering the song used is apparently a remix of Prince's song P. Control.

Oh yeah torture is awful, no question, but when dealing with gangsters as protagonists I feel it's best to put yourself in a mindset of relative morality.
(I did find it funny how they just assumed they wouldn't be able to get him to talk without even trying)
By the way, new Jojolion chapter is out.
Oh, torture is definitely bad. The main characters are all mafioso. They're criminals even if they're cool and likable. They have literally been at each other's throats, threatening death, over petty bullshit.
This was a very silly and stylish way of portraying their mindset.

Haven't watched the episode yet; did they really use a remix of P**** Control??
Now I really gotta find some time to watch it.
... And that's called jazz!Well I was told it was a remix, but it seems more like a Suspiciously Similar Song to me.
But hey, considering P. Control opens the album The Gold Experience, that's appropriate in any case.
Crazy the amount of stuff these guys can think in the split second it takes for a bullet to reach its targetβ¦
Giorno's a bit late to the party.
This was a really good fight. Again, great use of abilities. The villain somehow managed to make a power as seemingly simple and one-note as "can stop objects in mid-air" seem incredibly powerful and versatile. I especially loved the floating rock ladder/stepping stones. It's actually incredibly easy to think up a moveset for this guy in a fighting game, despite how little screentime he got.
OMG THEY TURNED KRAFTWERK INTO ARTS AND CRAFTS LMAO
that's the corniest namechange i've seen in this series yet
but with that aside the dramatic lighting/colors in this episode were FABULOUS
Also I see they're moving all the backstories for Bucciaratti squad to their first fights. In a way I think that might not have been as good a decision since they have more impact if you've been with them for a while, but it's not a big deal.
Part 5 probably has the most consistently engaging fights in the entire seriesuntil the very end where it shits the bed. We haven't even scratched the surface.

Wow. Sale got it so bad. I can't believe he managed to survive that.
I kinda like that format of introducing a character's backstory for their first fight. Gives more context to them.
Giorno's VA slipping back into his yuya voice while giorno's punching the truck was hilarious.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Abbachio's placement was definitely an improvement, but Mista's backstory really belongs in the Ghiaccio fight since both the backstory and that fight end with the line "Mista's determination opens a new path in the darkness".
We aren't actually finished with Mista's backstory, so maybe they're saving the rest of it for then.
Yeah, we didn't see how he got with Bruno. Just that he unlocked Ultra Instinct.
I assumed he was unconsciously using Six Pistols to kick the bullets away from him, but Ultra Instinct is a much better explanation. I'll go with that
Perhaps UI explains how he survived the whole Diavolo mess?
... And that's called jazz!Unconscious use of Sex Pistols definitely makes sense. I mean, Jotaro was using Star Platinum unconsciously when he first got it too.
One Strip! One Strip! And our boy Giorno used Golden Experience unconsciously to save that gangster in his backstory. See, it all comes full circle
Imagine if the entire series was done like this.
Stardust Crusaders would have been a fun ride.
Greek statues still aren't that emaciated
