Did we play the same game?!?
I used almost everything available to me when I did my Level 1 run of II. I only ignored a couple Limits and some abilities (like any of the Auto ones). And none of the finishers suck.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I once played through Kingdom Hearts II using only the Kingdom Key and never using forms or magic besides Cure.
It was still pretty easy.

This song needs more love.we probably didn't play the same game I played base 2 I don't remember being able to not gain levels there, and all I did on proud was push x and sometimes triangle, the combat wasn't advanced all I ever needed was thunder, magnet, and cure and just whack bosses with a key because they cant get magnet thundered
Base KH 2 on Proud is very easy. Karx is talking based on his experiences with Critical which only exists in final mix. It's significantly more difficult than Proud on the vanilla game.
Also assuming most of the concerns ended up being real problems then i'm not surprised. I never expected the gameplay to be as good as 2FM.

It seems to be getting mostly better reviews that II Vanilla, if that means anything.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Well kh2 vanilla's main problem was less the core game design and more that the difficulty wasn't tweaked properly to make good use of the mechanics.
According to biz's impressions 3 has some deeper design issues. That doesn't mean it isn't a good game or anything (it's too early to say), but it is a bit disappointing.
Hey it’s Square Enix.
It can’t be flawless after all. That’s just too much from them.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I gotta ask, should I play through the series in chronological order or in the order they were released?
Release order. It was written that way after all.
Be bold and play III blind. Get the genuine experience of confusion.
Hearing that the UK might also be getting the game early. If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
Why Denmark specifically? It's like they keep throwing darts at a globe.

is a blindfold necessary
New theme music also a boxTrust me, you don't need a blindfold - you'll FEEL like you've got a blindfold on anyways

Secret SignatureSo its a Birdbox challenge then?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So interestingly, I only ever played 2 when it came out, and decided to try and do a timeline order play through in time for 3 (so: Backcover, BBS, 1, Re Com, Days, 2, Re Coded, watch Blank Points, DDD, 0.2), and I think it was fine for the most part. I think the only thing is that it was completely lost on me that Castle Oblivion was the Land of Departure until DDD pointed it out in a report.
What if: Dreamworks Kingdom Hearts
The story is not yet ogre
Looks like I gotta watch the dang X movie before Tuesday huh
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The epilogue is out in Japanese. Avoid spoiilers and KH trope pages even harder everyone!
Secret Ending is still coming.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. So, I'm close to beating KH 1 now (pfft, I have so much to go through). Beat Neverland last night (Dark Sora took me a few tries but I beat him eventually), just have to get three more puppies to get the last piece of Hundred Acre Wood, beat the last tournament, and I'll be good.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I watched Everglow's KH Timeline instead of the Back Cover movie that came with 2.8, mostly because I haven't been playing the mobile game and I heard that Everglow's Timeline at least tries to fit relevant scenes from the game alongside the movie to make up for things that the movie alone doesn't explain or elaborate on. In fact, the playlist finally updated with Episode 11 (of what's now a 122 video project) yesterday, so now the Timeline playlist is officially "complete" until III comes out and the mobile game's storyline continues on. If you have time to kill, I recommend that over just watching Back Cover by itself.
I don't know if I'm going to continue to watch the rest of the playlist beyond the stuff relevant to x though. While I don't remember every detail from the other games after all this time, I know enough to feel comfortable going into III right now. Plus, the most of the episodes in the Timeline are around 20-30 minutes each, and the whole thing is 122 videos altogether (the mobile and Back Cover events are covered in the first 11 videos), which is just... pretty time consuming for someone who's played almost every console and handheld release thus far...

This song needs more love. Now I'm hearing that Critical Mode flat-out doesn't exist in III.
My already low opinion of Osaka team is deteriorating.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Why would you want Critical mode after how bad it was in BBS and DDD?
just like in every kh game. not everything in 2 was gold, some of those finishers sucked hard.
