I am wondering if Vanitas taking Aqua to the Land of Departure to get Ventus is an earlier development then we expected and one sans Sora. Ventus still appears to be asleep at the beginning of the end there

Looking at the trailer, Sora has a Rage Form building up at around 1:20. Sounds very unfriendly.

@lycropath Ventus could just be knocked out like Lea and Donald are.

So for sure order of events:

Massive Heartless Battle with the gang.

Donald blocks the laser and falls.

Kairi tries to protect a knocked out Lea but is whisked away by Heartless.(we see Donald is already knocked out)

Riku blocks a Heartless swarm from Sora while giving Sora a speech. Looks like a Piccolo moment.

Sora screams. Sora alone.

The Org XIII and Sora at Stairway to Heaven.

You know instead of it being Terranorts chains with Ventus and Sora chained up, what if, say, it was Namine because Chain of Memories.

And Im saying Namine being Norted as well.

If Naminort was a thing, Sora would not be the last one standing.

Que a gearless level where you play as Kari and have a single point of health while trying to avoid the heartless

When did Kairi become an outright Memetic Loser?

Chapter 13 in Final Fantasy XV was terrifying enough, thank you very much.

Since at least KH 2 or so.

Theyre mindbreaking Sora on purpose. Naminort would be there to dig the knife deeper.

Kairi doesn't really screw up much or act pathetic though, she just doesn't do a whole lot.

Which doesn't earn her anything but mockery.

Overhyped characters who live to be worfed, not being used at all, and not getting to do anything. These are all crimes worthy of condemnation.

My first thought was Demyx,guy is a clown so he's going down fairly early on.

We see a Nort using Kingdom Key against Axel so Xion is definitely confirmed. Though whether Roxas is a different story.

And oddly enough they've been strangely keeping Vanitas face hidden despite there not being a reason to hide it. So Somethings up or in the game itself he doesn't wear the helmet(Much like Marluxia didn't have Nort eyes originally in Trailers).

I don't think it is accurate to say she is overhyped. She is okay as a character, but I think one of the greatest weaknesses is how so much of what surrounds her is basically "Sora's soon to be girlfriend". Too many creators take it for granted that the guy and girl must get together, therefore neglecting actual characterization. Not to say Kairi has none, but again, the writing has never been all that kind to her.

Well the helmet could be less for our benefit as it is there so when it comes of Sora and company can be surprised. Moments where the helmet is discarded will probably be at a point where there is a lot of holy shit going around.

Sora already seen visions of his face in DDD.

The again he's not the sharpest tool in the shed so maybe!

Yeah, the main issue is one with authorial intent and focus. From the beginning it was fairly obvious that Nomura and co. had very little interest in actually exploring Kairi's character; she existed to complete the "two boys one girl" trio and to serve as an implied love interest for Sora, and that was that. In the first game she's basically little more than an object for Riku and Sora to fight over for the vast majority of the plot.

I'm not sure if Sora saw him so much as Ventus could see him.

Sora saw him its why he was confused.

I mean, she might actually get something character-wise this time around, though they could still fuck it up.

On Donald’s bit...is he he blocking a laser or firing a laser? If it’s the former, then I don’t think he fails, as everyone else is unscathed.

Either way, I wonder who the other party is...

I'm not going to give Kairi too much crap for whatever happens here because it clearly happens to everyone except Sora.

Mickey got beat by Luxord. I mean who even does that?

The same way he took everyone out to play his game with Sora in 2.

Time is OP.

x3 Laser's are Xemnas's domain for the most part. Especially red ones.
