Spooky-bot was already involved in the storyline; I'm expecting to hear an explanation about he managed to manipulate things so that Roko would get crushed by Crush-bot for her own benefit. (If that actually happens, Roko should punch Spooky-bot on general principle, even if that would be completely ineffective and something that Spooky-bot planned for.)
I think Spookybot is a them. And there's room for debate on whether that's being used as a singular or plural.

So am I the only person that'd have no problem with Spooky turning Roko off right now? Not a full shutdown or anything, just something like what she did to Faye in her first appearance. "You wanna be a bitch, fine *gently taps Roko's forehead* lie there for like 10 minutes, maybe your attitude will change."
Someone who isn't the most socially adept person opens up to you, there are correct ways to react, and incorrect ways, and Roko most fucking definitely went to the incorrect pile.

Probably because Melon's known Roko the longest; she even has a key to Roko's apartment, if I recall correctly.
EDIT: Yep, Melon knows exactly how to cheer Roko up.
