And that's why we keep Melon around.

That one got a chuckle out of me.
I like how her Hair Antennae stands straight up when she has her idea.
And it got a snrk out of Roko, which is also good.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I'm not sure how Roko predicted this.
Her first moment of calm after reaching her lowest?
Fresh-eyed movie blogSpooky-bot was already involved in the storyline; I'm expecting to hear an explanation about he managed to manipulate things so that Roko would get crushed by Crush-bot for her own benefit. (If that actually happens, Roko should punch Spooky-bot on general principle, even if that would be completely ineffective and something that Spooky-bot planned for.)
I think Spookybot is a them. And there's room for debate on whether that's being used as a singular or plural.
Fresh-eyed movie blogNow trying to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Enter Sandman... Nope, not working.
Actually, I got that one instantly.
Fresh-eyed movie blogYou syncing it to the guitar riff at the beginning or to the actual lyrics? Like, it's easier than doing it to Bohemian Rhapsody, because at least it has a more consistent beat, but still weird.
This is how I interpreted it. I have a cold at the moment, but you get the point.
This storyline is about to get STUPID.
I'm not sure why I'm so annoyed by Spookybot. Maybe it's because Spookybot reminds me way too much of Desire of the Endless.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI just don't find them very interesting or charming or funny or whatever it is they're supposed to be.
The fact that they're usually just a deus ex machina in their arc related appearances doesn't help either.
Oh really when?thirded
there are right ways and wrong ways to do spookybot's general concept. spookybot is not the way to do it
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Glad we skipped the smug oratory.
Hopefully Spookybot won't try to get in a last bit of smugness in the next strip.
Disgusted, but not surprisedBitch already got smugging in the last panel.
Can we please leave this Deus Ex Machina back in that one arc where they belonged?
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.sweet dapper cats
all right time for spookybot to go away
"sorry that's an ethical violation i'm das übermensch or something" hell's teeth
[forum cryptid: it/it's]I don’t know how I didn’t see it coming, but in hindsight it’s obvious that the transhuman AI would decide to communicate with Roko Basilisk.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI am now 110% firmly in "remove gray bitch from the comic" camp. 100% was the previous page.
So am I the only person that'd have no problem with Spooky turning Roko off right now? Not a full shutdown or anything, just something like what she did to Faye in her first appearance. "You wanna be a bitch, fine *gently taps Roko's forehead* lie there for like 10 minutes, maybe your attitude will change."
Someone who isn't the most socially adept person opens up to you, there are correct ways to react, and incorrect ways, and Roko most fucking definitely went to the incorrect pile.

Probably because Melon's known Roko the longest; she even has a key to Roko's apartment, if I recall correctly.
EDIT: Yep, Melon knows exactly how to cheer Roko up. Melon's a good bean, despite her eccentricities.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.
