I'm find of X1, Z2-4, and ZXA.
I'm inclined towards X1, X2, X4, Z2, and Z3.
I started with X1 so everything X4 and after just feels sluggish. Bigger sprites, smaller levels.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's illegal to play X1 and not do Chill Penguin's stage first to get the Leg Parts.
Its particularly damning because the dashing wall jumping the speed and dynamism were to me what distinguished Mega Man Classic from X
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIronic. Because X1 and X3 force you to stop so often, I'm mostly unimpressed with the SNES games' speed.
Where there's life, there's hope. For fun once I tried playing x1 in a different order deliberately to avoid getting the boots from chill penguins stage. You REALLY feel the lack of a dash in the other stages.
That damned Octupus in particular is a borderline Luck-Based Mission without the dash, unless you already have the missiles.

I thought Albert's barrier is easy to break if you use Model A.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzax3 Whaaaaaaa...? Are you supposed to Giga Crush?
Where there's life, there's hope. The homing attack usually gets most of his shield pips. I guess it's meant to be some kind of poetic thing that the best way to take down Albert is with Model A(lbert), but I suppose it's not immediately intuitive.
Since the guy is high above me I just used ZX's rolling slash and F's Busters.
Where there's life, there's hope.Yeah that's not very effective. It's best to use A's Lock on attack. It takes out all the bits and normally leaves Albert vulnerable, or hurts him too.
Alright then. That puts Albert above Kaiser Sigma.

A Battle Network question. In BN 3 defeating a navi's third version lets you unlock a security cube and get a blue mystery data. I defeated Bubble Man went to the Under Net area with his security cube through the tv station, but no mystery data containing the Aura chip.
Never mind, I got the Aura chip now. Though that doesn't explain why it wasn't there before. Any tips for the post game?

If you want to beat the Serenade time trials familiarize yourself with the Apprentice Folder I think it's called? The one given by the Official in ACDC after the tank's dealt with. Also, Copy Damage is pretty useful in taking out some of the Numbers within the Secret Area.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsUmmmm, I don't know much about Battle Network, but this feels like it belongs in another thread.
Nah, that's Battle Network 3 postgame advice.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsAll right I have all standard chips so I can fight Serenade. But how? I know she's invincible and usually have to wait for her to either do a shockwave attack or trap her. I'm not very good at folder building though. And then there's Bass' new form, does North Wind get rid of his aura permanently or does it come back?
Just to get this out of the way, I can't pull off the Var Sword's elemental slash combo. I know the input but can't pull it off.
x2 I'll take your word for it.
My favs "dash-era" are X1 and 5, and Z3 and 4.
