Most likely, it's because that section is funting long. Folders fail if there are too many characters in them. Your best bet is to split it into sections.

I'm reading the IJBM section for "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and there is a long list of entries that fall between the "Characters and their decisions" folder and the "The Avatar" folder. It seems like it would fall under the purview of "Characters and..." and has a folder closing tag at its end, but no starting folder is generated. I added an entry at the end of a long passage regarding a character, after which came a folder-closing tag. However, thinking I'd screwed something up by adding a tag that wasn't originally there, I removed that tag.
Without the tag that I added, there's just plain text denoting the start of "Characters and their decisions" even though there are folder opening and closing tags. In case I was right in placing the tag there, I tried putting my tag back and the folder started working again, but the long list of unsorted entries is still there with a folder closing tag at its end.
Is the list just too long to fit in a folder or did I inadvertently screw something else up?
Also, how does one revert an article to a previous state? I was trying to revert it to how it was before my initial edit but can't seem to find that feature.
