More concise definition : Lemon Stu

The current "Lemon Stu" article is rather messy and lacks both a concise definition and examples of what it is (not that any examples wouldn't be horrifying).

I think a good starting point would be "A character, male or female, who was created primarily for having sex with another character or characters; oftentimes, they'll be self-inserts—thinly-veiled or no—and overlap with other Mary Sue/Marty Stu types and subtypes." Maybe point out somewhere in the article that fics featuring a Lemon Stu tend to be mediocre at best (I can remember a couple from Really Bad Fanfiction).

Just seems odd to me that we'd have a Mary Sue type/subtype page with nothing on it (at least, it seems less subjective than Black Hole Sue).

Bumping. This article definitely needs fixing.

I'm thinking this might be better renamed to something like One Fic Stand. That would lose the Mary Sue connection, but some people have argued against that anyway.

"One Fic Stand" sounds a bit like PWP to me, honestly. All the examples I can think of (all from LJ community Really Bad Fanfiction) are most definitely Sues/Stus—such as the one from an OC/Peach/Zelda/Samus fic who, in the opening paragraph, defeats those girls' respective nemeses in one blow. And that's hardly the worst of it.

I'm thinking of posting said better definition, though I'm not sure about links—would it be better to ask not to include any or just warn that they'll all be NSFW (which is kind of pointless given the Stu type but still)?

Lemon Stu is a character, male or female, who is created primarily to have sex with a canon character or characters; oftentimes, they’ll be self-inserts—thinly-veiled or no—and tend to overlap with other Mary Sue/Marty Stu types and subtypes.

A good way to tell if someone is a Lemon Stu is if the fic more or less begins and ends with them getting it on. For example, while Jenna Silverblade has lots of grunting tiger sex with canon character Link, there’s (sadly) more to the story than that.

This doesn’t mean that they don’t overlap with other types—mostly God-Mode Sue and Relationship Sue.

Fics containing Lemon Stus tend to be mediocre at best; don’t be surprised if they also fail sex ed forever. In fact, failing sex ed forever seems to be a prerequisite.

Examples:

• Josh, of joshcube’s “Nintendo fan’s lust” romances Princess Peach, Samus Aran, and Princess Zelda at the same time. Too many fluids, absence of refractory periods, and rampant OOC ensues. (For extra squick, Josh comes off as criminally underage, but the author was in his twenties at the time of writing)

• The Pokemon Story exists only so David can rape his Gardevoir and Nurse Joy.

• Chocobo Nights does have more of a lead-up than most other Lemon Stu fics, but it’s still roughly 80% Chicabo-on-Tifa-Lockheart-on-Chocobo.
